Anyway, if i get an M5C this month i would'nt expect to pay more than £75k for a stock new car so be interested to know if anyone gets deals around that in the next few weeks.
With base spec (ie no packs)? I'm just about to do a deal on a car with Premium package, Comfort package, Driving Assistant Plus etc and a few other items, but for 10% higher than what's quoted above.
I got offered a Comp pack this morning:
M5 Comp
Marina Bay Blue
Silverstone Full Leather Interior
Premium Pack
Comfort Pack
Active Cruise Control with Stop + Go
Apple Car Play
M Sport Exhaust
Aluminium Carbon Structure Dark Interior Trim

OTR is £102,918
£20k discount so price would be: £82,918

Seems to be tough to find any more than £20k off on a 19 reg.
I personally think the car is worth that all day long. I thought they were too expensive 6 months ago for when it was 80k for a non comp but I think the above is spot on and great value for the car on offer.
I would agree it's good value for the car. My post was in response to earlier posts stating £78k was achievable for a Comp pack car. I contacted the same dealer and he said the best was 20k off list so 78k would be a completely stock car with no options and he didn't have any of those to offer. He said he could have done 78k for an optioned car on a '68 plate reg in Feb but not such a big discount for a 19 plate car. Shame as I was hoping to grab a super bargain 😂

If it's of interest to anyone I was offered a showroom f90 unreg with 12 mile on the clock and fully specced to 103k 1 week ago for 74k.

Spec and pic are below.

In the end I went for a 3 year old RS6 performance for 8k less. I'm terms of seats, tech, outright performance and interior the m5 was ahead but I just preferred the way the big Audi felt and looked.

Really like these M5's and as others have mentioned I don't think I've seen one on the road yet.

That purple one is lovely.

The purple one above looks lovely.
However I've just read on another forum that someone who paid £89K for his M5 Competiton has been offered £63K px against a BMW 850 XDrive. List price for his car was £103K, BMW M cars are still the kings of depreciation.

Why would he expect anything less though? I mean who buys one of these at near list price as a new model and then thinks they can swap it for something else a few months later without taking a huge hit? It must be well known by any serious prospective buyer that they tend to be sold with huge discounts once demand has settled down.

You want to be aiming for 20K discount, with the extra 5K would bring your payments down to below £930pm.
Also i'm guessing you have based the quote on 10K+ miles per year? Unless you plan on giving the car back at the end of the 48 months you'd be better off doing it at 8K which will give you a higher GFV and therefore lower payments. You'll only pay the extra mileage charge if you give the car back. I've never been questioned over the amount of miles i've done when p/xing the car in for a new deal. Maybe someone will give a cautionary view on doing this.

I've an order placed at Croydon BMW with £20,073 off the list. Message me and i'll give you contact details.

If it can be picked up at £74k then it's a proper bargain! I'd like it myself but the other half doesn't like the purple and would mean i'd have to cancel an order I already have for a blue one. However it is not a Competition pack car.

No worries, Just thought it was a great deal so putting it out there for others smile
It was with 23k down and no part ex.
I was sorely tempted but I just preferred the rs6 despite the fact it felt years behind the bmw in terms of tech and spec.

Appreciated, thanks.

I've gone back to my normal dealer and asked for more money off that car and I'll buy it.

Let's see what they say......................

But I'm not holding my breath so I may be in touch shortly wink

Good luck with it.

One thing you may or may not be aware of is that if you don't have the Active Cruise Control with "Stop and Go" function option then you will have 2 buttons on the steering wheel that are blanked out. For some this won't be an issue, for others like me it would drive them nuts (it will drive me nuts as i didn't know this before i placed my order) having such a premium and expensive car with buttons that don't do anything and are so conspicuous.

Thanks - I currently have active cruise on my F15 and use it quite a lot and blanked out buttons would really annoy me!

They have just found another £5k behind their desks and reduced the price and i'm pushing for £4k more to do the deal................

I thought they would find it when pushed. Sites like this can be an invaluable resource, (well maybe not invaluable! In this case you can value it at 5k biglaughshoot )

Let us know how you get on with getting that 4K, I'll be impressed if you get it and really upset I didn't haha

It’s little things like this which are worth knowing for the future. I never used active cruise on the last car I had it on, and rarely use dumb cruise on the current F10 M5, so wouldn’t care much about the function at all. But blanked buttons would really wind me up!!
