Order placed, Deposit paid. Just awaiting delivery time.
Probably be next year as I have opted for the Frozen Grey option which extends the lead time.
Likewise - what spec did you go for? I went for Frozen Grey and 50yr roundels only. Left everything else as is - did wonder if I should go for the HUD but too late now!Probably be next year as I have opted for the Frozen Grey option which extends the lead time.
J-P, APOLO1 and anyone else who has ordered one, I think that you will be getting an extraordinary car.
I took the plunge with an M5 CS in the face of a fair degree of understandable scepticism about how fun can a big heavy car be and it has surpassed my expectations. The M4 CSL is a different proposition and a bit more extreme and performs a different role.
However generally I think these recent latest generation BMW M special models are really unlocking some of what people loved about the early M Cars with great steering feel, delicacy despite being large/largish and not just about power and speed (although the power is fun too!).
Enjoy the excitement building while you wait for delivery.

Thanks, buddy - I'm really excited by the prospect. That is going to look very cool indeed!
Thanks,I was lucky to get one, have had lots of BMs and M cars over the years but nothing to recent but all cars came from same dealer going back to 286bhp M5 in 87, so easy to track history. Have ordered on Cup 2 -R as they were 3k last time I bought a set for 991 .2 RS, so good value as they are a no cost option.

Oh dear! Guess our cars got a little bit rarer…

I went out for a short run in the M4 CSL the other day (passenger). Well done to those who get an allocation - some lovely details and was especially fond of the yellow DRL's and the rear lights. Sounds good on start up and when pressing on. Feels/sounds quicker than what it's actually doing - quite different to my M5.
The car was the frozen light grey, which really suited the car.
I'll edit to add a couple of pics.
