FFS drunkwink

On a more positive note, this is the right colour for it IMO.

You know what? I really wanted black but got this because it had a longer delivery time but now, have to say I'm really happy with it. The paint is perfectly flat - it just looks really good!

Also, the grey is far more practical from a maintenance and swirl point of view. My friend's M2 is a similar shade and after 3 years still spot on whereas a black car...normally not so much.

Mega, nice one chap - pic ?
Thanks buddy.

Seriously cool ! Once it’s nicely bedded in you’ll have to get it on a track - not a fat old saloon like my M5 comp (although have to say it did bloody well getting up to the ski resort during a blizzard last Sunday, on winters admittedly)

Definitely will do that. M5 Comp is a beast. Mate of mine has one - it's so fast. Mrs has an X3M Comp and that has winter tyres on it at the moment and it feels invincible in terrible weather, I'm sure the M5 is the same.

Just swapped the Cup 2Rs for Cup 2s. Feels pretty much the same but now I can drive it a bit quicker in the wet and it has more than double the tread!

The car is so fast in a straight line, it's hard to believe and still beautifully balanced in corners. Those Cup 2R tyres are something truly special... so...much...grip - honestly brilliant on track!

So one thing I didn't mention on here was that when I went to Silverstone, I was overtaken a couple of times by a black 991.2 GT3RS being expertly driven by none other than Sir Chris Hoy - spoke to him afterwards (he actually introduced himself, spoke very nicely about my car) honestly a true gent. So sad to hear his news but as in all things admire the way he is dealing with it. Top bloke, a lovely, humble guy who can really drive! (as well as ride a bike)!
