the drops on the M3s are crazy, I been looking at them closely

Not the touring I know but there is some 2021 plates now that have dropped nearly 8-10k since August last year and still not sold.

If they keep on dropping they surely going to be mid 40s in a years time at this rate, meaning early tourings will be into the late 50s?

I've seen one sub 70k touring on AT which sold within 24 hours, it was a pretty decent spec but had orange buckets so I guess limited appeal, was at a Land Rover dealer IIRC, guessing taken in as a PX and they wanted rid quickly?

Lowest new deal I've seen is a base spec of £77,995, that stayed on the market for a good few weeks before going back up to £79,995 and selling shortly after.

I'm still on the fence, I very nearly took the plunge on an aventurine red model, but someone else bought it whilst I dithered, I'm glad they did now as over the last couple of weeks I've started seeing a aventurine red cab whilst on the morning dog walk and my suspicions have been proven right, most of the year the colour is just going to look brown.

Oh I missed that one but if it sold quick my alert from AT comes at 8 am so its possible it went before it was picked up.

I am interested but now there talk of the M5 touring its got my interest. For now I am happy to keepy my X5, best car I have had to be fair.

Love the idea of one of these (no I can’t afford one) so had a peep on AT for something so styled (both good and bad depending on your view in places) how is the above allowed ??
I felt the same when I saw the design - it looks like they've just, as a last minute thing, strapped a big curved screen to the dash.

But... over time, I've often found myself hooking my hand over the back of the display which means you get a decent hold and can make an accurate selection of something on-screen.

Now, I don't know if that's a use-case they thought-of or its just happy coincidence, buts its definitely useful. I don't think I've ever actually noticed that little mounting bracket in daily use, even as a passenger.

Whilst I think BMW interiors are getting progressively worse, almost everything they do is phenomenally practical and thought out.

I do the same, though do find at times the screen (and back therefore) get pretty hot!

Now that these are ten a penny and readily available on the used market. What kind of deals are people being offered for a factory order?

I did a Carwow quote on one of these last night, first price came back with 11.6% discount on

15k off I was hinted from one dealer. That was based on a BMW contribution and a dealer specific discount on top.

Just trying to see if there’s improvement on that.

I still don’t think it’s enough to justify going new unless I really want an individual paint. There’s so many on autotrader with under 5k miles which would save another circa 10k off new/discounted price.

There was one with £20k, but that's a pretty isolated occurrence, but £13k off should be easily achievable and more with a bit of decent haggling.

If that's not your thing, for a couple hundred £££ use Broadspeed to do it for you.

That seems inline from what I’ve been offered. 15k off from one dealer and 13k from another.

Problem for me is the larger discounts seem to either be on pre-LCI cars or pretty bog standard cars with very few or decent options such as buckets and full leather.

Are the discount quoted of stock cars or new factory orders?

From what I’ve seen, stock. But could also apply to new orders. But ithey could end this month as its end of Q3 and Q4 deals could lose manufacturer/finance support.

Or they could also be better. Latest BMW results were down so more offers could be on their way.

Hoping APR will drop soon too.

Discount was on new factory order, cars that the dealer had due in but were spec changeable.
