Looks like it! Will pop down and do the paperwork today and get a look at it, so hopefully get some miles in over the weekend and put it in for ppf next week.

Tell your insurance regarding PPF.

That's good news, they seem to be trickling through steadily now. You'll have to post some pictures when you get it, there's hardly any on this thread.

As expected, the cars for sale by flippers aren't going anywhere fast... I just don't think there's a big enough market for that on this car.
Crikey, just looked on AT to see what they're up for sale for. I thought there'd be two or three up. I counted fourteen up for sale from flippers!!! The market certainly isn't that big for paying such big overs on the things!! I think they'll all see big reductions to sell..

Thanks, that's Tanzanite Blue and I've gone for the body-coloured roof too although you can't see it in the pictures.

Thanks! Can't wait to get some miles on it next week and get the run-in service done as quickly as possible!

Tell your insurance regarding PPF.
Why do you have to tell insurance about ppf ?

Very nice although I'm biased wink

My G82 was in a right state when it arrived from Southampton

Some insurers consider clear PPF as a modification - so in the event of a crash requiring a repair, it's going to cost them extra, so they need to know about it. Looks like at least one person has had a claim challenged because he didn't let them know about a track-pack PPF.

Also seems to be some confusion about whether or not they are classifying any sort of film applied to a car as a wrap - whether it changes the appearance of the car or not.

I mentioned the PPF to LV and they didn't note it on the policy, but I did also say I was planning on changing alloys to another BMW alloy and it didn't add to the cost but has been noted.

That's gorgeous! Love the colour, love the flared arches particularly the front. What a car. You're really lucky, enjoy it when you get it please...

There’s a thread running where a PH’er had his insurance cancelled because he hadn’t declared the PPF and he had an accident.

Love the colour, from the pics the tailpipes don’t look like they’re chrome which they’re supposed to be if you go with the body colour roof, did you ask the dealer to change them ?

That's on my list to speak to them about when I go in to sign paperwork later. The car was literally just off the transporter when I saw it, so I'll check today.

I'm probably going to change the alloys, so the black with chrome inside might go better with the new ones and be more subtle. Not sure.. Will have a look.

Certainly seemed to put a big smile on his face when driving it which is all you can ask for right?
