So about £55,000?! You'd have to be mad...

It's Australia though, the land of seriously expensive European cars. The M3 CSL was AUD$210k new there (£155k), and BMW sold 23 of them there.
One could buy the UK one at £50k (AUD$91k), ship it and pay the customs duty, Goods & Services Tax (GST) and Luxury Car Tax (LCT). You're probably looking at AUD$130k all in, if not more, but I agree it makes the AUD$100k one looks a bit overpriced!
There is one other CSL for sale in Australia currently, for AUD$155k.

27 were sold here and I keep a register of all the CSLs in Australia. It was a really good car until it was damaged, now it is all most impossible to sell.
