Rear springs fitment

Well as we have our own little section I thought I would post something to increase traffic. I replaced both the rear suspension springs the other day and was wondering if they need to go in any particular way round. I think I put the springs in so that the blue markings were displayed toward the outside of the car.

I am not sure if it makes any difference ie which way the tail of the spring is to how soon they snap.

Yes, they need to go in the correct way up.

Care to enlighten me ? Everything need to go in the right way but its not very helpful as a statement.
