New NC owner here. I just picked up my 06 2.0i Sport and had a great time on the scenic route home. I can't wait to get back out. Anyway, here it is and it is so tiny on the driveway after being used to seeing my 9-3 Aero cab there:

I think I'll wait a bit before modding it a little to get used to the standard setup though.

Looking good that, nice colour.

A recent pic of my Mk2. I stupidly created a new thread rather than adding details to here! https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Thanks, I really like the anthracite wheels. Yours is really nice in that colour.

Here is my 1.8. It looks good in this picture, of course a better description would be 'crunchy'

Sorry just seen this. 17 x 8j et 45 Konig Hypergram wheels, 215 45 17 Falken FK510 tyres (brilliant tyres!).

These also clear the Brembos without need for spacers

Picked up this 30th Anniversary yesterday. I’d been looking at Abarth Spiders for ages but when push came to shove the steering wheel’s lack of rake meant I couldn’t drive it comfortably.

I then started looking at MX5s seriously and had always wondered about them and loved the 30AE as it had some of the same bits as the Abarth plus those seats and wheels! This will be a long term second car, it is standard apart from having OEM Eibachs fitted. Great to have the top down again on a drive, not had a convertible for almost ten years now.

My ND2 comes out of warranty in August and I've been thinking about the Super 220 package. How is it from a usability point of view? The factory calibration is so good and vice free I'm slightly wary of fiddling, but another 40bhp would be fun.

It's faultless. Absolutely superb. This has got the full Super 220 'kit'; the cold air intake, filter, cams, valve springs & retainers, manifold (with cat) and full SS exhaust with the quieter back box option (do NOT go for the louder option, this one is pretty raucous already!). Plus BBR's springs and 215 width PS4 tyres.

It sounds amazing when on song, it rips through the last 3k rpm, gearing and throttle response are both still wonderful. Even on the lowered springs, speedbumps are not an issue at all and it straddles the lumpy ones with no issue. With the extra umph you get to corners and through them faster, I would say it is worth upgraded anti-roll bars too, I will ask for some for my birthday. I will upgrade the front brakes to a larger disc and Wilwood calliper, more for bling and looks as I've not managed to cook the brakes yet on the road.
