Yep just got back! absolutely beautiful down the front this morning, very few people , no DFL's they turn up around 10-30 !

RR any luck with Mk 2 Man ???
And yes i agree your mates Ford looks a nice car at sensible money, may be he's found your pending TA
My knee's given me some grief this week , working and standing for hours deffo aint good! Ive also found driving the Dodge causes my knee to swell,
Think its the height of the seat, some my leg is always sort of out straight?
So think i'l have to put it away for awhile, im going to put up an add to test the water, thinking if it did make ok money i may be in a position to maybe find my bucket motor , and while being car less it would help my knee !
My mate with the Falcon missed 2 cheap T/A's yesterday and today, he subscribes to "Classic American" so gets it 5/6 days earlier
than in the shops and there was a ,i think he said 72 T/A for £14,500 ,needs work but looked ok in the photo, guy was going to
send him some detailed photo's but someone more local bought it yesterday afternoon, another one fitted with a 400 but still got
the original 455, phoned me again today very excited a 73 T/A still with it's original 455,white with red interior in Essex, again waiting
for photo's but got a email to say it was sold this afternoon , i must have missed seeing it it as it was on E-Bay under "Other Classics" not
American cars,
£28,950 classified ad.said it was mint ,both cars auto which is what he wants, seems you have to be quick if sensible money or nice car ,
while he's waiting for photo's someone 's on the way there to buy it,Maybe a good time to try that ad.
The guy with the MK2 has put me in the waiting room, very nice old boy ,says he's going to give me a decision in a day or so,
been 2 still not heard, showed me photo's of his Cosi Capri, looks standard from the outside, great sleeper. and his ex/police Tiger,
still got all the bits on it including the bell.hope i'm still in to it when i'm 80, said he would buy it with the overdrive not working so will wait and
see but not holding my breath.Going to be hotter tomorrow so take care of that knee for fks sake, they need to be selective in
the work they give you if they want you in one piece for the rest of the year.
Just think i could have said all this over a cold drink by the swimming pool with you guys, better start digging

I've worked out the answer to rat rod's current woes, it's simple really.......... sell the Lambo, use the money to get the builders to build you a swimming pool, buy a RR Silver Shadow, do a 'Keith Moon' and drive it into the swimming pool, job done, no need for the underground car park!
Ha! Ha!, What do you think i am a Rock Star, That's one thing they didn't teach us at school,A lot of people do say i look like a one hit wonder out of work ageing rock star, not sure how to take that

people see them in the flesh they get so excited , we forget after all these years around them we just take it for granted,
but it's a real treat for most.especially your car , it is the quintessential muscle car with the sun shinning on the bright orange
paintwork no wonder you get a lot of attention, and rightly so.

The angle of the photo has a lot to do with things - that shot to the side from above really shows the lines and details of the car so well.
Absolutely no doubt, thats why my vision yesterday caught my eye so bad !
RR i wonder if the white 73 455 was the one i had a deal on ? the owner turned out to be using me as some kind of security if his house deal went tits up!
Shame yes a slusher but a lovely one !

One advantage/dis-advantage about advancing age is that you become extremely knowedgeable about many things. Unfortunately that does not neccesarily translate into useful information that people that have any relevance to anything they are connected with or really want to hear. Fortunately the majority of people are so inherently polite they'll just let you ramble-on talking absolute bks about subjects they don't have one iota of interest about knowing at some in the immediate future you will either run out of steam, forget WTF the subject was, they'll fall asleep, suffer a coronary and successfully supress any desire to kill the person speaking (or is that just the effect I have on people......?)
Think your bang on rosco, couldn't have put it better Often think that when i ramble on with one of my "War & Peace" SA's ,especially for the below 40's amongst us, a suppose they either humour us or skip on to the next post.

This is the car, the owner was a guy called Jeff.......................................... bummer it was a nice thing, oh dear having a wobbly again!
Still work in 30 mins will stop all that !
Someone got a bargain as it said offers on the asking price, wouldn't surprise me to see it re-advertised
at a considerably higher price as a lot of yank dealers are around that area.
PS Never got round to seeing the ad as it was deleted by the time i got home, but from my mates description
i would say that's the one.
