Blimey i also made the error of putting Diesel in the Chally this morning, it was only the oil on the pump handle that woke me up! Fu----g Diesel with a V Power Logo identical the the Petrol one!
Hah, glad it's not just me - they really should label the pumps better! Wish the handle had been oily when I did it, it might have saved me £250... hehe

Yeah, we have diesel and petrol cars; I am always super paranoid that I am going to get the wrong hose.

She looks dangerous , heart attack stuff at my age, These people drive you mad, This never happens when buying a Volvo Estate,

No emotions involved with one of them.Only problem i can see if you sell your Challenger so funds ready in bank, but seems to many

people chasing to few cars, like my mate either on Saterday or Sunday whenever he saw the ad he should have said sod waiting for the

photo's and the car show he went to on Sunday and got going up to Essex, very frustrating trying to buy one particular model of car made

worse when they don't come up that often at real world money .Would it not be better along with your rainy day money arrange a bridge type

of loan so you can move quickly if and when the right car comes along without selling the Challenger first,

If you buy that dream T/A you can then sell your RT if not cancel the loan and you still got the Challenger ,

Cake and eat it situation, just my two penny worth.rolleyes

Reminds me of the old joke about the bloke in the pub so drunk he had double vision. A little later taking a leak in the gents urinal he unzipped his strides and (with his double vision) removed the larger of the two organs to relieve himself..........I think you'll all know the rest of the story.
And there is a similarity about incorrectly fueling your car.

Yep it has crossed my mind? but still only have one garage!
and being honest im not happy borrowing money , my work is being affected by my knee, good possibility i'l be part time now?

The biggest part would not being sure of what actually the RT would return?? guess work is ok up to a point , but in my financial position i'd need to know just how much i could reasonably afford to spend?

All P-ss in the wind really as there aint any TA's about with a 4 Speed trans,
and i cant seem to actually get around to trying a Add laugh Plus it bothers me if i do put up an Add and the chance comes up to sell?, and i bottle it im no better than the people that messed me about with the TA's , Ce'st la vie...................................................

While modern stuff isn't 'my thing' in an ideal world.....

My rapidily deteriorating spine means I know that at some point sooner rather than later, I'm just not going to be able to continue to play with 75-100 year milsurps, either from prone or the crappy benches chucked onto the firing points at Bisley........
So, I am keeping my ear to the ground about what modern precision rifles are available/best option etc., should that day come when I have to chop in the vintage stuff for something modern and easier to use....or just give up the ticket and only do clays instead.
As such that Desert Tech is very interesting being a compact bullpup design, although the video's on yooftube do show what I would call an awkward bolt manipulation being so far behind the trigger grip.
Interesting though.....and a consideration along with the Lithgow LA105 which is also available in Creed.

I've had to make the same compromises through the course of my '32 Ford coupe rebuild for the same reason, as it became clear that what I'd always wanted and what my decaying body can realistically cope with are not one and the same thing laugh
It does mean some stuff that was pre-bought for the original build is not quite suitable for the direction now taken......like the quickchange back end.

Hey ho......

And the owner of it could probably even afford the right car to go with it as well, instead of that piece of junk biggrin

You would have to buy the right car to put it on,wouldn't you.

Comes to something when a old yank is more expensive than a Aston ,

Wonder if he even knows it's on the wrong car, like a lot of super car owners

might not know confusedwhat a Hemi is.

I think from memory it went off not sold at around £58K almost half what he's asking now,

It was well into the hundreds when he first started advertising it,

Wonder if he's doing any better with the Riv,

Sure i saw a E Type V12 Roaster for sale outside the same house,

He must be either a dealer or collector selling a few of his toys.

x-ray yesterday, says i have joint degeneration , worse on the left side, must be all those heavy clutches i've

had to press over the years, was reasonably fine until lock down, after this winter i felt like my whole body has seized up.

Got another appointment at the hospital regarding the hernia, Thought i was a young man but all this seemed to creep up

on me without any warning.yikes Guys not come back to me on the MK 2 so looks like i got a overdrive box to pullout

and a axle to put in, recommission my daughters MX5 and still havn't got round to the 32 Roadsters oil leak,

We all abit fragile like ours cars!
Dodgy left knee ?? Slushers rule laugh My consultant told me i was done doing my job, after last week i was thinking he was right,
but knocking off at 1pm, so a five hour shift which i seem to be able to cope with, knee swells but no pain, so will try this for a month or so!
Take it easy, Yeah Right wavey

Bummer with the Jaguar, did the guy at least contact to say its a no go? or just went quite?

Just be careful lifting trans's and axles etc, they aint light! Had my axle out loads of times, its almost on zippers !
I made a cradle for the jack to hold it in the correct angle, they are a bugger without one ................................................................

Joking aside we all think were still 25 , crawl around under a motor for a few hours lifting gear boxes etc , one soon remembers we aint redcard
