Incoming… what do you have? (Vol. 3)
Discussion
Well, it took me all of a month to progress from $10 AliExpress Tank homage to the real thing
Picked this lovely thing up yesterday and it is every bit special as I had hoped. Yes, even though it’s only stainless steel and quartz. In truth that makes it a much more practical everyday watch than most would give it credit for.
What has surprised me is the bracelet, which I chose only for completeness, intending to swap for a leather strap right away. But it’s actually very nice, and I think adds a slightly different dimension to the watch.

Picked this up last week , I have some other watches but first Rolex for me …it’s a proper unit but wears really well, v happy with it.
Some lovely pieces on the last few pages too congrats all.
My only (slight) negative observation is that the colour graduation from blue to black isn't as obvious as I expected, only really apparent in bright light.
But it's a fabulous watch.
New Citizen finally arrived (after sitting in an NZ Post depot for about 4 days before they bothered moving it on to delivery)...
I'm happy with it, hard to tell from photos but as I had hoped the pattern/texture of the dial is quite subtle and and only really shows with certain angles and light.
Model CA0840-87L for reference.
Just a crappy phone photo for now, I'll take some proper photos when I have time.

Some serious stuff on here guys, really really nice. Reading about Nadal there and noticed his RM, can't remember too many ever showing up on here ?
Any reasons for that ? Price obviously, though to some on here that's not a major concern either.
A couple years back I almost traded these:Any reasons for that ? Price obviously, though to some on here that's not a major concern either.
For this:
But I realised RM's for the most part just look st on my wrist, they weigh next to nothing and besides hype, there isn't much imo going for them. They do zero for me. Really glad I chose to keep my pieces.
On its way to me is a long looked for one, the Lemania World Time, again with a 5100 movement. Strange one, made towards the end of Lemania's life as was and not many made, it used the same case as the Heuer 510.523 and the Lemania South African Airforce issued watch, both of which I have so this completes the triumvirate. [notice spelling of 'Tokyo' ]

After many years of watching / considering one, I'm having a bit of a st time at home so I thought what the hell... a forest green PanoMaticLunar is on its way to me, hopefully arriving on Thursday!
It won't fix anything, but my goodness it'll be shiny!
What a perfect way to cheer yourself up! I have a lot of time for the GO watches, real strap monsters too.It won't fix anything, but my goodness it'll be shiny!
