Interested to see how it comes out. I have phases where I love these, then others when they hold no interest.
Me too, on both counts. I think the case shape and watch style will really suit it but I can't find photos of any that have been done. Going by the "Sixty Nine", it should look OK.

Fell for one of these after seeing one on this forum :

It's a SNZH53K1 and has, I think, a hint of the Fifty Fathom about the bezel, although I chose it mainly for the colour smile

Hello PH Watches forum, I'm Mike, I'm a watchaholic and its been seven months since my last purchase.
Well, it had been until I arrived at work this morning to find that my ebay sniping program sucessfully bagged me this Rado last night:

Sellers pic. Can't wait!

P.S. I could be posting here again in a few hours.

I quite like the crystal on that and I'm not normally a Rado fan.

yes That's what drew me to it. I also did't have anything Rado, or anything COSC.

What I've really been chasing is a generation 1 Omega Dynamic, with a blue/silver/blue bulls eye dial. You have no idea how rare it is to find one with an unmolested dial, an unpolished case (so that you can still see the starburst effect) and a genuine metal strap. Been looking for about 5 months... Then on Monday I had to pull a sickie, a whole day spent perusing ebay watches and Volia, one Diastar. I had never heard of them before.

I'm really gutted that I missed the Seiko Gold Feather two posts above though. Take a look, it's gorgeous.

Never heard of the Goldfeather before, that's just cloud9

Looking forward to a shot or two of the DiaStar when it arrives as well, love the case shape of these, it's one of the reasons why I enjoy my modern interpretation.

At the more modest end of the market, this accidentally (I assume?!) went on Amazon last night for £12 + £7p&p from Germany. Retails at around £120ish. I have the confirmation and the status says "preparing for dispatch." If it does arrives, what a bargain!!

I have a few G Shocks (one fairly "smart") but none have a countdown timer or tide function. This does it all

Well, the Microtimer is going to be sold before getting brushed due to my current "one in one out" policy. Just picked up a Sinn 155 which I believe was previously owned by Mr Tims.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. They don't seem to come up for sale very often or certainly not the ones like this with the sub-dials at 3 and 9. It'll be going straight on to a Di-Modell Chronissimo smile

Just picked this up to join the divers fleet, a Heuer Deep Dive 1000m 980.023 - their only quartz 1000m diver made. Love its humble origins and simplicity, originally sold from 1984-1986.

Have just agreed a deal on TZ for a Seiko 5 Fifty Five Fathoms mod. I've been on the lookout for one for a while and a black dial/bezel combo popped up this week. I'm looking forward to the retro looks and exhibition back but will have to sell my SKX007 to make room for it. Will update the Wristcheck thread once it arrives.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of it. I like the looks but have never handled a cheap Seiko other than the monster and I'd like to know what the quality is like.
