Super watch the Duro...I talked one of my non watch friends onto buying a blue one.To say he was massively pleased with it would be an understatement.
If I didn't already have a Scurfa, one of these would definitely have been bought.

Yes they are great for the money, I have a blue one too, both bought for £50 each or less.....To say he was massively pleased with it would be an understatement.

Are you bigging these new digs up in an effort to entice me in?
It’s not going to happen, I’m telling you. I’m not having you lot being a bad influence on me again. I’ve been a good boy recently and haven’t bought another watch since July, (I bought my daughter a circa-1938 Breguet for her birthday).
I even managed to resist buying myself a Mondaine Stop2Go for Christmas, (although I did place a factory order for a new van on 23rd December to compensate).
Anyway, you lot are a bad influence and I’m not playing with you any more.

Peugeot and Citroen were both quoting 7 months for an automatic equipped, top specced Partner or Berlingo.Vauxhall were quoting 3-4 months for an auto Combo, in a lower spec for £4100 more than Peugeot or Citroen.
In the end I went for a 130bhp, automatic, Citroen Berlingo Driver Pro XL.

Love the Duro's! Seeing it's a new thread, here are some of my sub £200s, actually all sub £100 except for the seiko5!

The Seiko and Citizens would be my pick of the bunch there..I have two 'beater' Cizitens, both military/aviation inspired dials and they do take a beating...quite literally.
Interested to know where you sourced the straps, they really set the watches off and look decent quality.
Couple of Xmas purchases. The mothership very kindly bought me a Sugess Chrono 'panda' style watch. Came with a milanese mesh and a leather strap but I opted for a canvas strap in black. Just not a massive fan of leather straps.

That awesome ST1901 movement too, same as my Seagull.

Also bought my eldest a personalised Flik Flak (Swatch) for Christmas. She hasn't taken it off yet so I assume it's a hit!

Placed an order for a new Transit Custom in June, delivery March 2022. On the plus side my 50000 mile 2018 Transit Custom is worth strong money still.
Without meaning to derail the thread, have Ford stick to your agreed price from when you ordered, or have you had to swallow the recent 30% price increases? Also, may I ask what percentage has your old van held compared to its purchase price ?

I has a fixed priced quote, I paid £19800 plus vat for my current van, being offered £14,620 excl vat for it with 51k on it now. Also, may I ask what percentage has your old van held compared to its purchase price ?

Holy smoke ! That’s some seriously strong residuals.
According to the Vauxhall salesman and the Peugeot / Citroen van specialist, PSA / Opel will be ceasing production permanently of petrol & Diesel engined vans in 2022 to go 100% electric through their entire range.
I can see that costing them a lot of sales TBH.

My eldest received a Seiko 5 for Christmas...another big hit.
Fantastic watch for sub-£100. (Great watch for sub-multiples of that tbh).

Biggest problem now is expectation setting in future years...but a nice problem to have
Well going by the 'other' thread you could order him a Rolex now and he should be old enough to appreciate it by the time it arrives! Fantastic watch for sub-£100. (Great watch for sub-multiples of that tbh).
