Can’t compete with some of the watches on display today, but my general wear Seiko Alpinist (sarb017) has been treated to a new strap. A Zuludiver tropic rubber strap in brown from Watchgecko.

Top photo gives a better idea of true colour - chocolate brown. Suits the watch much better than the grey Page&Cooper rubber strap I had on it before. It’s very comfortable but Sod’s law it’s either slightly too tight or slightly too loose. I’ve gone for too loose for now and am wearing it old man style up my arm..! biglaugh

Interesting watch, is that a compass inner bezel? Is it magnetic?

Apologies, have you seen they've been cancelling pre-orders for the Gen 2 watches when they've come across people trying to flip them? A few might therefor pop up back on the site (not this one of course but the general colourways).

It's worth keeping an eye out for, it's a beautifully made thing.

The Alpinist is an amazing watch imho.
The bezel you need to set yourself:

I have a similar one in steel with a green dial.

Such a clever mechanism, incredibly accurate too.

Nah. It must be magnetic cos whenever you set it and look back at it again five minutes later, it's moved! rolleyes

I think I introduced many on here to Studio Underd0g, but didn't buy one. It looks as if they have more than doubled in value. frown

Swoon. Have always wanted a 031 as the diver to go with my OG Snowflake. Only ones on Chrono24 are always in Japan with ropey photography.

Should you ever consider selling, please come to me first..!
