Saying that, I get bacon from a very good butchers and it still does the white jizzy stuff. All their other meat is top knotch, but I don’t bother with bacon from them anymore. It’s put me right off
It’s probably still wet cured regardless of other stuff they sell. Proper dry cured bacon doesn’t have the water content to do that. I would also say that 99% of places selling breakfast are using wet cured bacon too even if the venue is quite up market. Saying that, I get bacon from a very good butchers and it still does the white jizzy stuff. All their other meat is top knotch, but I don’t bother with bacon from them anymore. It’s put me right off
