Ever driven past a Harvester and wondered what the breakfast might be like?

A slightly startled brunch for me.

Not only does that look delicious, it’s also the best “face” we’ve had for ages.

D' accord

However, I was starvin' and the Mrs wanted brekker out on the way to some new shopping hell so I took one for the team.

It looks less dreadful than the rest of Harvester fare, but only marginally. How they've not gone out of business with the absolute garbage they sling is completely beyond me. Ten quid for a Tesco Meal Deal chicken wrap cooked under a heat lamp and a handful of chips.

This is very good.

Nicely cooked and not too busy.

I don’t get egg frying rings. Seems pointless to me.

Forgot that. Buy decent fry cured bacon. This only happens from supermarket / cheap wet cured bacon

I’ll let the restaurant know!

Saying that, I get bacon from a very good butchers and it still does the white jizzy stuff. All their other meat is top knotch, but I don’t bother with bacon from them anymore. It’s put me right off

It’s probably still wet cured regardless of other stuff they sell. Proper dry cured bacon doesn’t have the water content to do that. I would also say that 99% of places selling breakfast are using wet cured bacon too even if the venue is quite up market.
