Not sure if it helps, but I was oblivious to its existence until I lived in York - fortunately got a shop 2 mins walk away that always has a healthy stock. Any other black pudding just won't do now

It looks less dreadful than the rest of Harvester fare, but only marginally. How they've not gone out of business with the absolute garbage they sling is completely beyond me. Ten quid for a Tesco Meal Deal chicken wrap cooked under a heat lamp and a handful of chips.

Forgot that. Buy decent fry cured bacon. This only happens from supermarket / cheap wet cured bacon

Saying that, I get bacon from a very good butchers and it still does the white jizzy stuff. All their other meat is top knotch, but I don’t bother with bacon from them anymore. It’s put me right off
