Looks fine to me. I am not a fan of the American cooked to a crisp style
me neither but I'm equally no fan of soggy cold fat style, its needs the fat cooking

My cholesterol level won't let me eat the fat in any form

I had the breakfast wrap this morning. Was tasty but rather small and looked very Spartan on the plate. Will revert to the standard traditional breakfast next time.
This is the Freedom breakfast for £2.25 at the Uxbridge Spoons, washed down with a couple of pints of 'Death or Glory' from the Tring brewery which is pretty potent at 7.2% drink hic

£2.25, that’s like 3rd world prices, how do they procure the ingredients for that price, surely someone is losing out.

Assuming that is breakfast (not an all day FEB) what did you do for the rest of the day?

7.2%, like having a bottle of plonk instead of a morning cuppa, sod that, I’ll stick to my cup of ‘Rosy Lee’.

WTF is a freedom breakfast or should we call it ‘feedumb’ sounds like an American absurdity.

I won’t comment on the VFM/taste/experience, having never tried it, if the occasion arose, I would give one a go.

Well I think they are probably quite low-cost ingredients, which they buy in huge volumes. Furthermore, they are making a very small margin on it, in the knowledge that the customer will also buy six pints of lager to go with it.

I think it is a typo and meant to be £5.25, I have just checked an old menu and it is showing as £5.19.

Unless it is some offer they have on at the moment.

No.

Wetherspoons have different prices at different pubs.

Find it hard to believe me? Well, look at the menu prices for The Coronation Hall in Surbiton and the Moon On The Square in Feltham, just a few miles apart.

Here's the 'small' breakfast menu from Spoons in Wycombe this morning, the prices vary from pub to pub, for instance £2.25 at Uxbridge, £2.99 at Wycombe and a whopping £3.99 at Beaconsfield services. I'm a fussy eater but one thing I will say is the quality is consistent throughout.

No complaints here, all washed down with a couple of pints of 'Roasted Nuts' from the Rebellion brewery in Marlow biggrin

They are both the same prices for that Freedom Breakfast.

I appreciate that there are price variations, I am not doubting that. But, I really can't see them selling that breakfast for £2.25, but I stand to be corrected.

I have no idea how they can sell the 'small' breakfasts for that price, at the Uxbridge Spoons they had 10 real ales on offer all priced at £1.99, long may it continue beer

That is truly bonkers, if I had that near me, I don't think i'd ever bother to cook breakfast at home.

Ha, I have just checked the prices of the Wetherspoon closest to me, Bedworth...and the prices are the same as above, £2.25 for the breakfast etc. However, it is possibly the most depressing place on planet earth. It is best known for "once having a Woolworths".

Little known fact - they also do takeaway cups for the hot drinks. I drive a bus and the local spoons has an agreement with us that we can buy a cup and use it throughout the day. Beats the hell out of £4 for a Costa
