Good addition to a freezer is a vacuum sealer.
Virtually eliminates freezer burn and we find reheating curries/chillis etc using home made boil-in-the-bag is better than microwaving. Not to mention you can reheat multiple portions/dishes at the same time.
Even less clean up than microwave too.

All of the above really, I can tell you what NOT to freeze also........cucumbers!
The father of a friend of mine thought it would be a good plan to make the sandwiches for himself and the kids for the week on sunday and freeze them, cucumber being mostly water based just went slushy upon defrosting.
