Fantastic guitar. I was looking for a PRS, but when this popped up, I had to have it. Coil tapped so almost any tone is available.

Loadsa nice varied guitars here, no basses yet so here's my lot:

main workhorse - 1992 musicman Stingray 2EQ, about 1500 gigs in the last 7 years on this bass !

new spare, 2002 musicman Stingray 3EQ

Used to use it all the time, but barely play it now I've the musicmans, 1995 Fender Jazz Deluxe (active with 3 band EQ)

Bought for a bit of variety and investment, 1977 Fender Precision

Had this since new 1988 Hohner B2, modifies with big Gibson frets, genuine EMG Steinbeger pickups & pre-amp. Steinberger bridge. Haven't used it in 10 years !

Also got one of these at a regular gig, cos I'm lazy
Stagg V-bass, with fender Jazz neck & musicman bridge pick-ups. Plays horribly, but looks hilarious!

Amps, mainly Mesa-Boggie 400+ all valve head, into Mesa 4x10 cab, or Marshall VBA 400 All valve head into matching 4x12 cab. Also have Hartke 3500 & Gallien kruger RB400 heads, and Ampeg 4x10 and Eden 1x15 as spares. Occasionally use Boss bass synth, Boss super chorus and Electro-Harmonics Bass Balls pedals.

ROCK ON !!!!!

Absolutely stunning collection Malam. I will definitely get a Jem when my playing gets good enough to warrant it. Have a 1570 Prestige for the time being.

Thankyou very much. A 1570 is as good as any Jem once you replace the pickups, I have a couple of 550s, and have owned other various RGs- all excellent guitars.

i was waiting for a bass to show up here! top collection sir, that J Bass looks great, one of my all time fave models are they

my real musical tendency has been toward bass, hope to get myself one soon!

i had a fair few guitars and basses, but they have all been sold/ in the process of being sold

and i bought this beauty to replace them all.

http://www.spectorbass.com/images/NAMM2006/ReBopZebra.jpg

Spector Rebop 4 Dlx bought from sound control in Dundee for £449 a fair bit off the RRP

rest of the money went towards rent/ looking for new car frown

yikes

I was going to do that with mines using the 81/60 EMG setup!

The only thing that put me off was that with them being active I was told I need to get a cavity cut to house the battery confused

I'll get some pics up a bit later!

Yep they need a 9v battery which is a bit of a bugger but heyho. Great sound though yes

Both pups are wired to use a single battery which is housed in the volume/tone pot cavity so no extra routing is required biggrin

Here are my guitars.

An Epiphone Les Paul and a Taylor 414 L7. I'm tempted to get some Bare Knuckle Mules for the Les Paul to try to get a slightly more vintage sound. No electronics on the Taylor.
