Meet Terry, first off road 4wd for me and a cheap one at that.
Terry has been put out to pasture in his latter years, like a rescue battery hen let out in the fields
£750 of crustyness + some new BF tyres with wheels for £200 so stands me £950.
Wading through a bog to test it out:
Surprisingly clean. Does it have a floor? Don't see many without in floor ventilation these days.Terry has been put out to pasture in his latter years, like a rescue battery hen let out in the fields

There's quite a few Terrano II here on St Helena.
I'm currently batting about in this one as a long term hire while I wait for a starter motor to arrive on Island for mine (3 months and counting). Whilst it says Trust Japanese Cars on the wheelcover, this particular example started life in the Isle of Wight and had a speedo change at 40K so has done about 62K all in.
Value on St Helena probably around £8k ish maybe a little more.

We're off to the Falklands in November so I'm having this thing sent down so we can explore properly. It's currently being fettled and de-stickered etc before it gets sent down to Southampton to be shipped in about 10 days. If all goes to plan, it should reach the Falklands about a week before we do.
Specifically chose the Trooper because I wanted an old school 90's mechanical tractor with the least possible electronics and a reputation for reliability. Max Speed on Falklands is posted at 40mph on the road to Mount Pleasant. There is a lot of off road tracks and diesel is currently 58p a litre. Can't wait.

Glad to see that you've changed the number plate from H982 FKL...
