Jon,

Do you have any offers for existing customers? I'm coming off my contact (£13 for basic Sky plus HD) and my broadband (VM) is ending so shopping around.

Thanks.

Our existing deal has/is coming to an end. Do you have any deals for existing customers?

Many thanks

looking at losing Sky all together but wondering if any one has had a decent deal on package like below:

Sky Signature
Sky Ultrafast
Multiroom
HD
UHD
Ultimate TV add on

new price will be £85

I can lose the UHD and HD but hoping for a renewal around £40 ish.

I am a 21 year VIP, as if that makes a difference.

I know it's a long shot but if i'm honest there really isnt that much on Sky anymore but i'll miss the Q boxes.

Deals for existing customers are limited to discounts on adding additional packages and adding Broadband, if not already taken.

Slightly off topic but I got a call from Sky the other day to "review my package" even though I've just done that.

I do think it was genuinely Sky, but she started by saying she wanted to go through some security questions. I said I didn't know who she was so I wasn't going to do that. She got a bit grumpy and ended the call.

How can Sky seriously expect to cold call customers and immediately ask THEM to verify themselves?

You sound like how I felt about it all a couple of months ago. I finally negotiated a price of £63 down from something like £84

The only reason I stay is because of the Sky Q boxes, I have 1 main and 2 mini's and they work seamlessley (when hard wired!).

Have been a customer for 21 years, it's hard to give it up!

Coming to the end of our sky tv offer and been told it’s going from £72 to just under £100. All sky could offer was a £3 discount as we have broadband. This is with most channels so put in a cancellation request. Seems to be no deals now?

this is our experience with Sky and VM - no willingness to haggle or offer deals. They will also blatantly say the better deals are for new customers, can no way match it for loyal customers and now have processes in place that stop you using another email/wife (unless completely different surname and previous living history for credit checks) to get the 'new offer'. I know because I tried. this is even leaving it to the last day before/day of cancellation and various calls during the month notice period - they just don't want to hear it out.

we had basic sky signature, HD and Kids for £13.50 (amazing deal), next best they could do was £28 if I renewed - that was with a discount for 10 years loyalty.

I've now gone to a separate broadbadn and TV set up until I am now a 'new' customer again and better deals come out. I annoyingly missed out on that crazy Ultimate Volt VM bundle that after cash back and bill credit came out to something like £50/month and if you canclled the o2 sim, £35/month - for every possible channel and 1GB internet.

Sods law it did come up every other month earlier this year but not for the last month kr so when we need it. We've had to take whatever is on offer unless if comes out on the next 10 days

You need to find out what the 150 channels are. No HD. You might be paying £23 for Netflix and stuff you can get on Freeview for free.

The only deals for existing customers are -
- Additional TV packs are 25% off, ie from £3.75 extra per month, instead of £5/month
- Broadband from £23/month for 18 months, if you have Sky TV, but not Broadband
If you want to re-negotiate your current price/increases, keeping your existing package, then you'd have to contact Sky directly.

Nooooo frown

Is it worth cancelling the lot and waiting for a decent deal to be offered or is that a thing of the past now as well?

My bill is 65quid and going up another 40 quid for the same thing, it's insane.
Wish we didn't have to go through this ste at every renewal, and just get a half decent deal offered instead.

Bt and virgin media seem to be offering far better comparable deals at the mo, but not sure what they are like as been with sky for 12 years.

Just bite the bullet and scrap Sky! It'll be strange for a while but you'll soon get used it.

I cancelled last year. For a while they bombarded me with offers, some very good, but I’d already decided I wasn’t going back. Eventually they called me to try and talk me round. I told them the service had no value to me so unless they were actually going to pay me to have it I wasn’t interested. The guy sounded like he thought I was crazy, but he must have pressed a button somewhere and the offers stopped.

This is my plan. I’ve had Sky for 18 years, so it will be weird, and I do love the functionality of Sky Q, but I’ve been monitoring usage the past few months and it just doesn’t represent any sort of value for money to me anymore. Going through our Planner, it’s all BBC and Channel 4. Very rarely do we watch anything that isn’t a regular free-to-air channel, with the exception of PL football, and there are ways of getting that without Sky. My bill is currently £80, due to go up to £107, and I’ve had a re-contract offer of £91 a month, which is frankly ridiculous.

Quick question actually; do Sky come and remove the dish? How is equipment sent back to them?
