Apple airport express
Discussion
Hi.
First post on this forum but I think this is an awesome piece of kit for the money.
The Apple airport express device plugs into a mains power socket and is not much larger than a phone charger. It is a wireless N class device which will extend your wireless network, work as a wireless print server, or wirelessly stream your Apple i-tunes music to another room (or garden) within network range:
I've got mine linked to my surround receiver in my living room via a 3.5mm jackplug (a specialized optical digital lead is available) and the REALLY cool thing is that an i-pod touch or i-phone will remotely control my i-tunes via the wireless network! (my pc with i-tunes is in an upstairs bedroom)
I reckon for the cost of the gadget itself (£63) and a 3.5mm jackplug cable I already owner I argueably have a system rivalling home audio networks costing £700 and more!
