A right little pickle!

No easy answer by the looks of things.

Cutting off the plug you are thinking of soldering the wires too temporarily and hard wiring the connection seems logical if there is enough cable/Loom to deal with. Of course that depends on whether you want to go down that route and lose the plug.

'Hard' wiring the tank is an option. Just leaves the issue of how to seal the tank up biggrin

I'll see what the week brings, it is only Monday biggrin

Right. Fuel tank re-wired and plumbing renewd for E85 compatible stuff.

Small error from the Master which was quickly rectified and boom, she ran. Really well, all be it only idling and reving on the drive. Felt 'solid'.

Two-hour drive around S London with my eldest tomorrow.

If all well, the book the hotel and travel up Tuesday.

Mr Phazed, will you have a compliment of tools, jack etc .. with you? Just so I can pack accordingly.

Awesome.

Two hour potter round S London and all is well.

Other than a clonking from the underside. May have to get the jack out tomorrow. laugh

Checking hotels this evening.

Good stuff.

I’ve just been exchanging my really lairy exhausts for the slightly less lairy ones. Still a bit worried about the sound test…

What time is the briefing? Just wondering whether to book in for breakfast at the hotel or not.

I believe the briefing is at 8:30 am, sighting laps to follow and then sessions afterwards till lunchtime

You will need to have your car noise checked and sign in first. I would get to Track at 8 am latest.

Thanks, no point booking breakfast then. Hopefully will get the details and indemnity forms etc when the club office opens tomorrow.

Last time we did an online briefing as most people do now but the club still had an in-person briefing on the day for some reason.
