Thats the first time Ive ever heard of the Surrey bunch not being friendly. However, you have to make as much of an effort as they/we should to you. Come to the next one, find the chubby fella in the yellow Cerb and I'll chew your ears off all night. You'll be begging me to stop.

I've been to a lot of TVR meetings and non have been as welcoming as the Surrey crowd.

I did talk with a newbie with a Chimaera .. non standard wheels which looked quite nice if I remember.

Sammo- I perhaps had slight advantage in turning up on my own and was thus forced to do the walk up to people and say 'Hello,..I'm XXXXx, my cars over there, which is yours?' routine...

when you next get the chance do come down- people are actually quite friendly,..:-)
