We've recently signed up to the 9.99 deal after a free trial run. So far very happy with it. We were regular cinema goers until we had our first baby last year! We are now catching up on all the films we've missed out on over the last 12+ months! I was wary initially as it seemed to be almost to good a deal. I'm happy to wait if some films take a little longer to be available.

I can only think of a few times that DVDs have been damaged or not delivered and they were always sorted out very quickly.
This was a bit that worried me, the T&C's were on about you have to prove non receipt/postal back again and I'm afraid to say I can be arsed with having to get proof of postage everytime I mail a DVD back again. I'm not local to any Post Offices that I can get to easily without a major divertion to my normal day so I would more than likely just post them normally and run the risk. So if they fail to arrive on a regular basis it could get quite costly and then not such good value for money.
if you're that much of a worrit it's not for you. He said he had received 700 films and only had a few issues. Percentage wise that's not worth bothering about.

The only time I had an issue in 4 years was when I went abroad for a few months. They had not received my last DVD back and chased me for a bit. I explained that I had posted it in the usual way and it was written off. I have been using the service again recently and it's still as good as ever.

Thousands of customers receive and post back tens of thousands of DVDs every week. I doubt many go missing or that many people get in the more over it or it would be all over the media, wouldn't it?

Despite what the Daily Mail would have us believe about the Royal Mail (mail envy?) the system works pretty well almost all the time (like 99.9999999999999999999999999%) That said, chuck the blighters outside at this time of year from dawn til dusk!

Which way would you jump,or is there an internet TV where you can chose your own streaming supplier or do you just have to wifi via the 'virgin' router with any other Tv to get lovefilm or the supplier of the choice on your TV of Choice ?
I think the term "Internet Enabled" is a bit misleading as most TVs nowadays have the ability to connect something up to it to give it that functionality. There are numerous devices (such as media players and Blu-Ray players) that will run the iPlayer and such like, so I don't think it's worth paying extra for having it built into a TV.

I just plug my laptop into the HDMI port and hey-presto, my TV is internet enabled. smile
