Wonder why the third guy (who got the longest sentence interestingly) had his identity kept secret?

Bunch of clowns anyway. Wearing same clothing all day. Using their own phones. Getting wrong address. Not covering their faces etc etc.

Got the ch5 programme on record.

Parole on BBC2 is worth a watch so far. Episode 1 of 5.

Two criminals at their parole hearings.

A murderer and a fraudster this evening.
Parole was very good, well worth searching out on iPlayer.

Indeed.

Tough job. They did however, reach the same decisions I would have done. Just.

I'd love to add to this, but I'll give others a day or 2 to view it, as I don't know how to hide a spoiler smile

Fair play wink. Look here and preview to make sure it works: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/formatting.htm

It's not something I have thought a lot about before, but I didn't realise how long these parole hearings were - they were effectively most of a day.

That time must add up over all of the people up for parole. It's a lot of resource. Good they get a fair shot mind you.

Tough decisions the parole board(s) have to make.

We've only got the info that was shared - 30 mins out of the day and not all the background - but it seemed fair that con-man didn't get released. Even though he was so close to the end of his sentence - he was released this month. Hard to see him changing his ways esp. given his recent foreign jaunt and the info the psychologist pulled out at the end of the programme which somewhat changed the context of his version of events.

The other guy - I'm not so sure about. Has he got his anger under control? Such a hard decision the board had to make.

If it's the wrong address, it's still strange they've got CCTV inside their house.

Given the amount of st they had in it they'd probably never found the drugs even if it was the right place. They were proper Wayne & Waynetta Slobs.

Amateuer from the police for not seizing the phone when it was on the bed. Mind you he had a Gucci style duvet, probably goes around with a man bag too, so we all know they type of person he is. Proven right by what he was up to later on. They should have fined his mum for saying he wasn't in.

I've never heard someone just say nc before at interview. Still with a bit of luck they'll all be someone's bh when they're in prison.

I thought it a tad strange that the daughter replied that she didn't know where the drugs were when asked, rather than drugs, what drugs?

Outside the house, fair enough. All over the inside sounds out of the ordinary, at least to me. May I ask why?

And would you have the internal cameras recording all of the time, surely they'd be getting triggered constantly when anyone moves?

Overall not really an inspiring bit of crime docu, just a bunch of coked up scum chasing down 300 quid of drugs someone owed them. They only have a limited shelf life in society before they get banged up and end up with a ruptured arse in prison.

Something weird they had that level of quality CCTV in, but you never know what the circumstances are, the owner may had been in that line of business etc.

Scroats on next week look annoying.

I think the young psychologist in the Coombs case is in the wrong job…

Have I missed something? Sentenced to 4 years he’s automatically released at 2, so why the parole application.

My mate used to run a busy city centre bar and he said they had really good CCTV to catch any pilfering by the bar staff.
