Just watched this, couldn't get it out my head they were at the right place, CCTV inside and the daughter didn't seem petrified of 3 masked men with weapons in her lounge asking where the drugs were.

Guess we'll never know but jury is out for me, also thought police could hack any phone anyway.

Have I missed something? Sentenced to 4 years he’s automatically released at 2, so why the parole application.
Didn't he crimes occur in 2018, sentenced 2019 hence 4 years up in feb 23, he did make me fell he would offend again.

Where do they get deisgner gear in prison?

The murderer guy had cold dead eyes, not convinced he won't beat someone again, I mean pool balls in the sock!

I will not be wearing lacost or boss stuff seems to be the brands of toe rags!

Removed his own sock, loaded it with snooker balls to beat the guy to death...

He'll back in, they're not the spots a Leopard can change.

Yeah seemed odd to me to, so short a sentence and so close to release.

They said he previously absconded abroad while on parole - don't know how he fitted that all into 4 years, or perhaps that was after two years and this recent parole was the three year point.

My mate used to run a busy city centre bar and he said they had really good CCTV to catch any pilfering by the bar staff.

Watched the program on Channel 5, was pretty decent and similar episode wise to the newer format of 24 hours in Police custody but once again the sentencing at the end is a joke which really detracts from programs like these.

Agreed! A completely pathetic sentence, for a career criminal who was out on licence!

He was homeless / no fixed address, but had a girlfriend and a dad, but didn't live with either of them confused No doubt he will be released in a year and back out doing what he does rolleyes

Parole was ok, probably more edge cases through the series.

The hot head bloke I knew would get out, he was the type though you just knew had a switch that flicks if you said one wrong word, I could see the fuse ticking.

The compulsive liar really didn't stand a chance the minute he gave his pathetic plead of innocence when he first started.

Quite amazing how much crap he was eating in his cell along with wearing Hugo boss tops as well!

The murderer on Parole this week was a difficult one. I don't envy the people making the decisions.

Yeh I didn't think he was getting out after the incident with attacking the chap, I get that in prison if your in for crimes against women or children you can be subject to attacks. Its hard to know if he was going to be ok in a open prison. 14 years is not a short stretch, killing someone over £20 is mad! He just seemed disconnected from reality, if he can beat someone with a claw hammer for £20.

The other guy seemed like he would easily fall into drugs and alcohol.

There was no way they were moving him after he'd been in a fight. I did see his point about the reality of his sort of offence and being attacked though. Very hard to tell if he was still a danger to the public or not and I can see why they have to err on the side of caution.

The other guy is either going to be fine or an addict who's in and out of prison for the rest of his life. He still didn't seem completely 'together' but he wasn't exactly a menace to society.

To be fair we have unchecked people coming in I didn't think the guy with arson was a much of a risk.

Only the other day a Albanian guy who had previous for violence and drug dealing/fire arms was deported in 2021 had returned May 2022 and was found living a few metres from a nursery. He was released on bail as the Home Office failed to send anyone to attend court. On the radio they concluded the Home Office is not fit for purpose.

So there doesn't seem much will to protect us from criminals who are a danger to the public!

I do think that he will always be a threat to the public. The guy is a cold blooded killer, he is a psychopath. It did not sit right with me when he had tried to use religion to try and manipulate the parole board. To kill a person over a 20 pound note and to request to be moved into a cat d prison is very insulting to the victim and her family.

The young asian lad will find it difficult because he is an outcast in his community. I do hope that he can find peace and move on. Part of his conditions should be that he attends a support group session.
