I guarantee they won't resist the fan service of Cleganebowl (even the term is hideous).

That's all D&D have now, with a tiny smattering of conversation with GRRM.

I'm fully expecting to be completely disappointed by the story telling this season, whilst simultaneously being awed visually.

I was disappointed by season 7 and my expectations are low for the final episodes.

Still can’t be worse than the last series of Westworld.

Dammit, I know it's another TBBT, where I need to watch it for closure, but I'll be sticking pins in my legs as I remember the great ole days

I was too. I rewatched it over the weekend and the dialogue is not good, really stands out.

Does look good though.

Might rewatch them all before the new series starts.
Currently on the last episode of season 1. At least all my free time for the next 6 weeks is sorted I guess.

I know it will only be a shadow of it's former self, but it'll still be the best stuff on TV.

Directed by Miguel Sapochnik who made The Battle of the bds, The Winds of Winter and Hardhome. He's also down as directing episode 5 on IMDB too.

THe battle of the bds was ok, but it threw all the logic of the battles they gave us previously out the window and went full hollywood.
Nice to look at, but easy to predict.

I watched a vid earlier on the new posters, and Sansa turning on Jon was mentioned, that'd be ace if it happened.

I almost just want it to be a stunning but predictable last-gasp heroic victory now. I think when the screenwriters try and get too clever they tend to mess it up.

The Hound is pretty much a full-on good guy now, so he doesn't need redemption. Unless he saves Brienne from his Brother, maybe.

Jon and Danaerys are kind of boring now. Jamie's probably the most intriguing character still left.

Yep we've had enough twists and turns now, if they all end up dying and the Night King ends up on the Iron Throne just to "convert convention" I'll be a little bit pissed tbh.

I want the night king to realise that he's already demonstrated the ability to resurrect and control different species.
I want him to realise that he can therefore resurrect a metric fk tonne of midgies and wasps, and take the 7 kingdoms by swarm.

that'd be good film.

I'm hoping for some twists, it's more real, than bad guys v good guys, though the show still hasn't fully gone the bad guy route for the WW yet....I'm wondering if any CHildren of the Forest are still alive....

I'm looking forward to Theon doing something, and am invested in Jaimie the most right now. Who sits on the throne is a sideshow now. My bet was Littlefinger, but I'll go with Sam now- the North will lose and Sam will save the day.

Trailer looks amazing. I wonder what Ayra is running from. Could the army of the dead be winning and she’s going to get help?

Roll on 14th of April!
