It did occur to me that LF is as likely as anyone to know about the Wildfire underneath KL and, as mentioned, Varys did say he would watch the city burn to be king of the ashes.

Short of the WW and maybe the Dothraki I can think of few who would care less about the inhabitants.

The explosion could have a more innocent explaination unrelated to the fall of KL, of course.
I think the Dothraki would care more than you might think. Not least because Dany would care and she controls them but also if she does totally turn them lose (I doubt it) they would want to have the population for slaves

who else is left to carry the Tully name?
If Edmure dies no one, Bran Stark would inherit, next in line would be Rickon, then Petyr Baelish could try and snatch it via his marriage to Lyssa and if not Robin Arryn could be in line if Bran & Rickon are out of the way.

7 episode series 7 confirmed - http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/tv/game-of-thrones/401...

I guess expect episode 6 to be severe.

Whoops, spoiler.....that means they all at least some survive for another year. biggrin

They only need to be 10minutes longer to be a 10 episode run, but then what would the point of only have 7 be?

anyway, more behind the scenes SFX - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXe4T1RoJTc

LOnger scenes maybe? That link is brilliant, so was that one with the actors in other things.

I could easily imagine that they go down a route that would need the extra time.

Think of how long the Helm's Deep section of the Two Towers is. With the WW/Dothraki/Vale/etc., it's not too hard to envisage set pieces that last an hour each.

It doesn't say that they are only doing 7 more though, just that season 7 is only 7 episodes. There could still be 2 seasons left

It's also rumour mill from a guest director, not saying it's not true, but it isn't set in stone...yet. biggrin

I read they were doing 13 more, spread over two shortened seasons.

It's probably 3 extra episodes over the 7 seasons originally envisaged.

or it could just be a load of rubbish.....

I would prefer one more season with 13 episodes if that were the case. Unless they are making them into 2 hour time slots per episode (one and a half hours each without ads).

So here we are in Volume II. NO SPOILERS!!!!

I'll be watching it at 8pm local time in Houston which is 2am for you bu I promise not to say anything until it's broadcast there.

New Top Gear is shown tonight on BBC America and due to the time difference the other way, quite a few hours after the UK broadcast time.

Can I assume that the same no spoilers "PH Rule" will be applied to the Top Gear thread as a courtesy to the non-UK viewers?

Nice try, but I think there's little hope!

I have come up with a cunning "Baldrick Stylee" plan.

I can read the Top Gear thread all week but, and here's the really novel part, resist temptation and not actually click on the thread for the few hours between the UK broadcast time and the time I watch it over here.

Genius idea
