Decent effort. Some good, some not so.

I gave up watching the Clarkson/Hammond/May Top Gear probably midway through the second last series. I think it was when they tied two cars together to illustrate God knows what stupid idea.

I love cars. And it just got right on my thrupennys seeing millionaires deliberately destroying cars for no good reason. Millionaires when many many people in pre-Brexit land would give their eye teeth for a new car.

Now we have Monkey and Gerry-bird wilfully damaging a brand new Panda and Ignis to illustrate what exactly?

Stop damaging cars for no good reason you utter tards.

When the presenters of a TV Show are having more fun than the viewers, something has gone far wrong.

It’s not big. It’s not clever. And you presenters/producers/editors are a bunch of tards.

I’m out.
The Ignis and Panda have a gate price of what, 5 grand? That’s nothing for a 20 minute ‘advert’ on prime time TV.

Plus if they are early build cars they will be off to the crusher anyway.

I wonder how many people have an Ignis on their radar now?

Got to applaud that rant. You even got Brexit into a TG outrage.

I'm sure a lot of the cars get scrapped off on both shows. Even the ones that aren't badly damaged.

Both cars were 66 plates. I wonder if this was an old recording?

I didn't think Sabine was due to feature much this series?

Leblanc is still amusing. I mostly enjoy his part in the show.

I didn't think i'd say this but It's a real shame he's leaving after this series. He's certainly the glue of the current presenters.

And hopefully we won’t be exposed to the intensely annoying Eddie J.

Top Gear Is Dead.

Announcing a new line-up before the last series featuring the previous lot had even aired has to be the dumbest thing the BBC have ever done. A bit like launching the IPhone 12 before the 11 has even gone on sale.

I'm sure most people watch the show for what it is without getting upset there is a new line up next series.

Only a few pages into the thread and it's already getting odd. A lot of strange rants.

As someone said in a previous iteration of the PH TG thread - there's a reason why Sabine only appeared extremely infrequently (ie. specifically in connection with the Nürburgring) in CHM Top Gear.

What do you think the reason is we are getting numerous new members who follow all the exact same threads, offer all the exact same opinions and clearly know about old threads?

Hit the nail on the head there (and this applies to The Grand Tour just as much).

Honestly mate I don't watch it. I don't class posting on a thread RE the program as bothering with it. Still, if you enjoy it, watch it by all means.
Really? On the night of the first episode of the new series you post, during the episode. But you're not bothering with it. Clearly.
