For me, Clarkson and co had gone stale a long time before they 'left'. Top Gear has always been a show that veered from outstanding episodes to mediocrity and back regardless of the presenters. The Grand Tour is further evidence CHM had shot their collective bolts and suffered from the same brilliance/mediocrity balance.

I will continue watching both regardless as I enjoy the shows, even the mediocre ones, because I love seeing cars on TV.
Pretty much how I feel about it, I’d even go as far as to say I don’t even mind Paddy that much anymore.

I don't, he's almost as irritating as that weapons grade tosser Evans. But not quite.

It's not an either/or situation. You don't have to watch any of it. And let's face it, they're all pretty dire.
It's also a faintly idiotic, meaningless justification.

"I'll watch TG because there are other things on telly that I don't want to watch."
meaningless justification.... more like comparison... no one needs watch TV. however if its got an engine and wheels then in comparison to the other rubbish... yadda yadda...

Does that mean it's OK to watch it or that it's not OK? Confused

Pretty much my view. Entertainment, pure and simple. Applying huge critical effort to it is missing the point. Either watch it or don't, then witter on here. Fine.

Plus 1 to this

Have'nt really watched since Clarkson

Chris Evans, Matt le Blanc, Flintoff, McGuiness could'nt have done a better job of ruining it
TBH the last series with Clarkson, May, and knobhead were crap. GT, is very average. I rate the latest incarnation of TG higher than both.

Replace McGuinness with Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix and I think you'd have a better trio.

His Youtube videos for Top Gear are very watchable.

Brave to attempt a 3 way Lorry driving film. I'm looking forward to the Crown Vic race at the Freedom Factory.
