The Stolen Girl

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt28228082

Only watched first episode but feels a bit predictable already, a bit meh you might say
I think the clip at the end of the first episode where the girl in the boot says "who are you" will get the reply "I am your mother" as she was already stolen at birth or something along those lines

Is there a thread on new star wars movies that get announced at Star wars conventions but get delayed and never made thread?

Wtf is Starfighter?
Perhaps a back to basics middle aged white man hero saved the galaxy movie? Shirley not from Disney!?

I'm 2 episodes in and it's OK but nothing special. Only 5 episodes so will finish it just out of interest.

Not on D+ but fans of Columbo should check out Poker Face on Amazon. Very familiar feel and set up but a great show on it's own merits.

Spin off of The Good Wife, I loved the character in that (and The Good Fight). Not gotten around to Elsbeth yet as it's only just becoming available in the UK but I'll be giving it a watch.

She was an interesting character for a few minutes of an episode but when the whole programme revolves around her she is incredibly annoying and I gave up halfway through the 1st episode

She was just about bearable in the Good Wife but the novelty wore off very quickly in the dedicated series. Quickly she became fking annoying.

I've just finished the Bear - didnt really move me like its previous series , s1 and s2 i think being some of the best TV i've ever seen - s4 seemed to have its moments, but i didnt feel the characters moved or changes as much as previous seasons - still good though.

Alien TV series out soon on Disney???

The Bear, It was a very bland ending.
Not as bad as the previous series and it had a few moments but also had some episodes that were a real slog (the wedding). Whole thing felt like a waste of time plot wise. It was always very a very "actor" heavy show.

yeah agreed - and i dont mind that as such in the previous series because we were getting to know them and getting to see them grow and change, but in this series it felt stagnant on going over stuff we already know (mother issues, brother issues, acceptance issues, love issues) without really moving anything forward. i also felt that countdown clock was a little "lazy" to add drama.

does anyone know if its been green lit for another series?
