That ties in with the flash forward scene with Caleb flat lining.

What do we think is going to happen with Chas? she claimed an injury in the accident and it caught her again in yesterday's episode in the pub when Ella bumped into her

And only in soapland would a farm machinery thief steal a quad in broad daylight rolleyes

On the plus side the quad is a better actor than the new arrival…..

Way, way, back in the old days Chas did have an addiction to painkillers, so not entirely surprising if the writers brought that back / re-hashed previous addiction storylines aka Rhona, Ross, etc.

My personal guess is that John has added to or swapped some of her pain meds for stronger stuff - he then gets to ride in the hero, find her, help her, Aaron trusts him more, Chas now trusts him too, and best of all he can lay the blame on Ella - the timing of him wanting to take Vic to the pub and finding Chas was too good timing. Yes it's possible Ella could also do that but far less likely although she'll obviously get the blame.

Danny Miller - Aaron - has already confirmed he's leaving again which would all link in nicely to anything John has already done - potentially killing Nate - or is going to do. The actor that plays Ella is also leaving too - potentially in the next week or two given the previews for next week.

Looks like the writers are effectively going to start re-using old Debbie plotlines for Sarah as what she's doing isn't that different to how Debbie started out all those years back. Also, when did Sarah pass her test and get a driving licence? - let alone one covering the use of the flatbed recovery truck.

Fortunately in Emmerdale nobody needs training or lessons in anything whether it’s being a chef in a pub to being a mechanic (even the previous nurse wasn’t qualified iirc!) it’s good because people can just replace any skilled artisan at the drop of a hat.

Good point. There's been a number of farmhands over the years, but other than Tracy's attempt at starting a nursery (which you'd think Emmerdale might need wink ) Very little else springs to mind though...!

Probably the same builders that rebuilt the pub in & out in super quick time after Al blew it up hehe

I’m still impressed that the garage manages to provide a living for Cain, Sarah (the mechanic with perfectly manicured nails) and sometimes Mac. And all with axle stands - no lift or pit hehe

Okay! Is Chas overdosing on the painkillers or did Ella spike her...?!

Amazing how quickly the dodgy doc and Joe got Ross "Out of the way" so they can go ahead with the kidney transplant scam!

And how annoying was Jai last night when questioning/intimidating a vulnerable Steph? banghead

In real life he would have been told to fk off and mind his own business…. Ridiculous way to start the ball rolling which will inevitably lead to the whole grandad thing being found out (prediction not a spoiler) .

Love the way the dodgy doc can just walk into Home Farm to visit Joe at all hours completely unnoticed/unchallenged laugh

The whole Caleb, Anthony, Ruby, and Steph's father storyline has been really good, and building for some time. With mileage still left in it IMO.

Yet now Caleb is one of the worst storylines I've ever seen on Emmerdale with this whole illegal kidney transplant stuff....! Ridiculous! Hope he survives this farce and we see how Caleb, Ruby and Steph move forward with their relationship as a family..

I don't think any of us are actually forced to watch it ...

I just kept seeing enough of it over the years that I started asking questions about what happened to who and then found this thread which has kept me vaguely sane whilst watching it as well as filling in the blanks when I don't.

The kidney story is absolute ste though!

It is a bit too obvious that it isn't going to be Ella doing all the stuff to Chas and the Doc, who do we reckon?
