AA just blatantly copying the old style TG road-trips now the horn prank in his latest video was annoying AF and not even the slightest bit amusing
Second part was very enjoyable - love the BMW museum trip.

..But without too much of a spoiler: st the bed Taylor!! - had a feeling there would be a bit more to the story.

That would have been a better video IMO.

I do wonder if it was human error or mechanical failure.

Both parts of that road trip need Taylor, something was missing without him, second part just seemed to drag on too long.

I suspect it was human error, something not tightened maybe.

Are they simply hoping that the majority of their viewers are too young to remember the original TG scripts? Even the cheesy bit about ''road trips with mates'' had been done by Clarkson. I wonder what the old TG line up make of it?

Intrigued to know why Taylor couldn't get the ITB's working on the M30? It's been done plenty of times before.

confused

Anybody with kids who might want to share the video to the youngsters?

Social media is so prevalent these days that I wouldn't be surprised that a prevalent YouTuber posting about his kids having an accident has more impact on kids than a police campaign. In my (simple) opinion, there are very few threads on PH discussing the road signs saying "keep left" or "don't drive tired" etc - but we're on vol 5, page 216 of this topic.
Posting dated, timed and locationed footage of your son driving without due care and attention is pretty funny.

It adds nothing to the discussion on kids having accidents because the cause wasn't discussed honestly - you don't crash driving on a straight road!

Its pretty obvious that he was distracted by something... drifted left a bit, looked up when the other car came past, massively over corrected the slight drift left then over corrected again and braked hard and round the car went.
Completely agree with that analysis. There was no other reason for that sudden steering twitch than the car passing.

Found it hilarious that halfway through that video he says the accident happened a couple of months ago but he was waiting for the new dashcam to be released as they are sponsoring the video. Let's monetise!
Feel sorry for the kid, he's had a camera shoved in his face from a young age by his immature dad and now he's embarrassing him like that all over the internet for a sponsored video.

Looking at his average views on his YouTube channel, I think it's safe to say it's not YouTube revenue buying all these cars. I do wonder if he has a partner, and they've decided to use his reputation and YouTube channel to cozy up with Ferrari and enter the Ferrari game by buying random models in hopes of getting a limited edition allocation.

Bingo. He really is the biggest clown among UK YouTubers. He has no shame in what he uploads to his YouTube channel.

Funnily enough, he approached a few Lamborghini owners to do his rally, and all of them told him to ps off. No owner wants a guy recording every minute and posting any mishap online so he can make £1,000 from views.

If you want to see two guys having a genuine laugh, rather than AA and crews forced effort, watch the latest Savage Geese 992.2 video. The track segment. But as usual, some great technical insight.
It took me a couple of videos to 'get' them but I now think SavageGeese create the best car review videos. Few seem to go to the trouble of delving into the technical aspects and talking to engineers etc. Are there any other similar reviewers?. Admittedly, I'd prefer to see SG feature more classics but that's not their thing.

Definitely not for everyone, but as you hint some of use aren't particularly interested in the 'entertainment' of road trips and car challenges.

I watched 30 seconds of the video, not knowing who he was. That was enough for me to know that he's a classic thicko's thinking man. Talks earnestly, takes himself far too seriously.

I assumed he was younger than me. Was quite surprised when I saw he had children of driving age when mine are still in nappies.

It shouldn't surprise me, it just did.

Agree on embarrassing you kid on Yt, he'd hate it if it was the other way around.

That old chestnut eh? You do realise that 95% of all £100k+ cars bought in this country are on finance don't you?

Considering his views are dropping all the time, I cannot see how filling the barn with Ferrari's is going to help.

I do like the new 12 cylinder coupe however

He has 2.6 million subscribers, yet a video from 2 days ago has only pulled 102k views, compare to Autoalex with a lot less subscribers and yet his latest video has been watched 323k in just over a day.
