Reacher - Prime Video
Discussion
You don’t want to overthink the series too much as it would spoil it a bit.
However, I think series 3 is off to a better start. Enjoying so far, shame now into drip fed episodes. Again… what was previously the main advantage of stuff on Amazon?!
Series 1 loved it. Series 2 didn’t really engage with it and seems generally similar opinions from others. Stuck at it because of how much I enjoyed S1.

I've watched the first episode and thought it was fun. Some of the acting is pretty ropey though. The DEA woman was particularly s
t.
All 3 DEA people are very poor. As is their hostage. Keep thinking it must be the premise or the script... (In fact as I start listing them... None of the acting is that great. Maybe the chef

Series is OK, but you definitely need to switch off.

Good first 3 episodes
Annoyed by:
1. The fact it's only 3 episodes and there's no indication of when the rest will be released. Gimme them all!
2. Adverts. I've paid a sub already for Prime, why am I seeing frickin' adverts half way through??
1) an episode a week every Thursday nowAnnoyed by:

2) totally agree, you want no adverts amazon say pay us more, very annoying. Plus a lot of aged prime series now seem to be moving to pay/buy the series rather than included.

I thought the whole purpose of streamed content was that I could watch it when I wanted to, as fast as I wanted to?

In other news:
> 100 bonus points for having Anthony Michael Hall in it and bringing back my 80s films memories - Weird Science, Breakfast Club, etc

> Duffy and Reacher are totally going to get horizontal in a future episode.
I think this particular story only really worked as a book.
I loved S1, enjoyed S2, but this just feels a little low-budget and simplistic to me. There's very few actual characters to engage with, and after three episodes I feel like it's flying through the story in the book but not really that impressively or in a massively engaging way.
There must be better books out there to have turned into a series?
