He was the kid's driver/bodyguard in the first episode that was in the car that was 'blown up'.

I'm not a big fan of picking plot holes in ostensibly fun Tv. Roll with it. It's the journey etc.

But.

That was an awful lot of bleach that the two goons wandered into an office of. You're telling me that old Angel's work area usually smells like a municipal swimming pool scratchchin

He's the guy who voiced his displeasure at paying for Prime but getting adverts...

Predictable, but watchable nonetheless.

I've watched the first episode and thought it was fun. Some of the acting is pretty ropey though. The DEA woman was particularly st.
Also (and it might well be me) Reacher does act like an arrogant ahole.

Series 3 is delivering everything I'd hoped it would, I'm not watching Reacher because I'm expecting it to win an Emmy, I'm watching it because it makes me titter like the A Team used to when I was a child, it's like a serialised version of an 80s action movie.
This. Said it about every season, and I will watch it to the end. It's easy to watch, easy to forget, so much so that I'd forgotten we'd started watching it...and I mean that as a compliment. It's wallpaper entertainment, brain out, doesn't take itself very seriously and neither should the viewer. Now, what were we talking about?

This series is much better than season 2. Despite the acting.

She was looking rather trim in last night's cameo

Probably the highlight of this series sofar which up to now I’ve found to be turgid in just about every aspect. I think since the first series which was good it’s gone steadily downhill with Richson becoming more wooden

I'm hoping they do Die Trying or Nothing To Lose.
Die Trying would make a great series 4, lots of dramatic locations and characters to make it a visual spectacle.

Nothing To Lose was an odd one for me, it only made sense because we know that Reacher is stubborn as hell. I don't know if it would work as series 4 for a more casual viewer.

I'm sure they'll do Die Trying at some point, if they keep going.

One thing I've noticed is that they have Reacher stripping off at every opportunity. He also seems to get more muscle and definition as time goes on, which can only come from steroids or hours in the gym, neither of which have any relationship to Reacher's lifestyle (at least in the books)

To be fair, if I had that body then I think that I would be stripping off at every opportunity! It does seem to be the "action" series that Mrs Rebew is most keen to tune in to which I am sure is completely unrelated.

In the books he is portrayed as a mountain of lean muscle without much mention of how he sustains his physique (other than a brief stint digging swimming pools). Again, suspension of disbelief is required here.

A very good episode and the beginning of 3 hours of great TV, followed by INVINCIBLE and the Wheel of Time.

To me, its just coming across as a lengthy audition to play the Terminator if they decided to remake the original.

I've not been totally gripped by this story, I'm now 3 behind, I need to make some time to get back into it.
