It’s strange to think the finalists need to come up with a name for their business idea on the final show. They really treat the viewer as dumber than the contestants.

How do these numpties get on this, or Dragon's Den when they don't know the difference between turnover, gross profit and net profit?

Surely there is some form of audition/vetting?

You need to remember these are TV shows… the ‘business’ aspect is just a hook to hang a plot on.

Do any of the winners ever carry on with the business idea they created on the show or do they rename them and carry on with their own ideas?
According to ‘YF’. ( This years non winners).
Dani: Vegan products for hair.
Victoria: Sold her business. confused
Megan: Got her licker license... & is working on a new project.

AOB: Shazim... dating AVI.

I have tried googling but can't find it. What was Avi's business plan?

I think a lot of them want to be on the show so set up a business rather than the other way round. Dani didn’t bother buying any stock for her hair extension business because she “didn’t think she would get very far in the process “

It seems a bit naff for a GCSE project. Maybe a 3 on the current scale?

I believe one above Analyst?

Clearly a smart guy - Econ degree from Nottingham + Barcap is no picnic, but he's taken a huge gamble

Yea stupid job titles.

I was offered a "Vice President" job with a really big company. It's simply a manager role. Americanised rubbish, and apparently it's so make you sound more grand so clients feel better looked after.
