Just watching this, on ep3, its laughable, and they have missed some quite important bits of his story. I never knew Snetterton was so hilly lol
Yeah it looks like a decent circuit, so I looked it uphttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aut%C3%B3dromo_Juan_...
The series gets better, with real footage interspersed with new film
I can forgive the glaring errors!
It definitely captures a mood and insight into a Man who was incredibly talented and passionate about both his craft and his Family.
Suspend your inner nerd and enjoy the fascinating key-points in the Life of one of the true Greats.
I remember exactly where I was when he crashed and exactly where I was when his death was confirmed. It'll never leave me.

I watched a lot of FF1600 in the 80s and saw one of Senna's early wins, so I am very tempted to pick holes. Snett mountain circuit, excitable crowd (nah, we didn't do that ) and commentator talking about (Jesus ) a switcheroonie . But it did evoke Senna well I thought , on what I've seen so far and I should cut it some slack. I use subtitles so I was probably spared some of the worst excesses and it's a nice change to see a Brazilian production and I enjoyed the Brazilian scenes .
I knew Senna was exceptional the first time I saw him race and nothing ever changed my view. Flawed undoubtedly , and I do squirm at some of the cargo cult level adulation he has had since his death . A great driver but also the template for Schumacher's cynical excesses.

I haven't watched any of this yet because I just know it's going to be annoying in it's steness. I did see quite a good thing on YouTube the other day though about the outfit that built all the replica cars..
I was involved in building some of the cars in Rush , it was fun.miniman said:
Why wouldn’t they use actual racetracks? They seem to be pretending that one nondescript track apparently in a quarry is both Brands and Silverstone
It’s a Brazilian production. I guess they couldn’t afford to ship the crew and the cars to the Uk. Same with some of the details, a P plate mk1 escort is not a bad guess for a Brazilian production. Not sure if I would know the number plate styles in Rio for 1983Dynion Araf Uchaf said:

A cursory glance at Wikipedia wouldn’t be too hard though would it?I’m at the end of episode 5 so far. The cinematography is pretty good, everything looks nice but the details are ruining it.
Basically a Senna drinking game. I go for a gap, adversity, it’s raining God mode activated, a gap!, driving out of my body/tunnel vision, he is doing well in this race let’s add some rain, combine some of the above.
Combining that with the infuriating thing of every time he needs to go faster or overtake it is change gear and actually press the accelerator.
I don’t know if I zoned out through it or did it completely skip the Suzuka where him and Prost crashed the first time? The second one didn’t make much sense without that context.
Portrayal of locations and Martin Brundle fans slightly questionable
