Yea it's all just a tv entertainment show now not related to any real business acumen. The fact the sub team don't communicate until they've finished their part of the task is crazy.

Yet again I think we’re seeing most of them just doing it in the vain hope they may all get some sort of media gig out of this. Most of them aren’t even making a minimum effort anymore. The interview episode is the only one worth watching now.

Have any apprentice winners in the last ten years got a media gig?

Strikes me that it’s a crap way to do it as it exposes your failings every week.

She was the series 2 winner, long time ago. Most recent to be in "TV" was Stella English in 2014, hosting on Crowdbox TV - https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2014/01/30314-ste...
Crowdbox was dissolved in 2015.

I think that Tom Skinner did quite well out of it. And let’s not forget the 2005 winner……….

It's odd that they keep going for "high-end" when they have absolutely no knowledge of what they're doing, do they get told what level they should aim for? I've never made posh food so there's no way I'm going to say "I'll give it a go and hope it's good enough" as it will set the expectations way too high.
If they've ever seen the show before they should know the way to win the corporate hospitality task is to ply them with booze, it works every time.
Well I think you have some special insight, getting people pissed on a jolly is some ninja thinking.

Nothing says high end luxury like a gimp shouting the name of the place you are in like a football hooligans nursery school outing. Who would not want a chump after a charisma bypass making them stare into Rachel from accounts eyes I mean that is a high end experience isn’t it, and he is meant to be a public speaking mentor? Seriously go get a job in Tesco or the council, he does not engage an audience he does not inspire he is one of the worst at sales/ communication on the show 8n ages.

It’s a fundamental part of business. ‘Strategy’. No one wants to be the ‘busy fool’. So you have 2 broad options. Stack it high, sell it cheap (high volume low value, relies on good salespeople mostly) go for low volume, high value ( relies more on marketing, with sales backing it up ). However, this show is mostly about a plethora of cannon fodder, looking for likes and follows, after the gig, and a few sparing examples of people with established businesses looking for some boost in profile from Lord Srallen.

Says a lot about the calibre of candidate these days... one of the early winners (Simon Ambrose) had a Double First from Cambridge, now more likely to be a double D from the surgeon!

Judging on company net assets is as daft as the series, the most successful person may have taken £20m profits out and not left assets in the company

People in the UK had it as Turkey, but even now we're suddenly pronouncing it how they do locally, maybe we didn't know? it sounds daft now though.
It's Turkey, why should we use their version when they call us Birleşik Krallık.
