Sorry you’re unable to concentrate because of Jonny's eye. I'm sure he’d very upset to hear of the distress he’s caused you. Edited by Rider007 on Friday 31st January 02:22
I've found the last few series fairly dull, but quite enjoyed it last night.
Obviously editing is involved, but I did like (for the forest tour) :
- We must stop trying to sell to old people
- Agreed
5s later :
- Would you two like to go on an electric bike tour around a forest?
- I'm 70, this is my 97 year old dad, so...... no
Having said that - I think the glacier team had an advantage anyway. Regardless of price, I would choose to go on a glacier tour - I have no interest in cycling around a forest and hugging trees.

Alan: you're going to give guided tours
Contestants: great, so we're all going to experience our respective tours first, learn what they consist of, what's included, how popular they are, how much it costs per person, then negotiate our price with the tour operators and suppliers before consulting as a team to decide on a reasonable price to sell these tours to the public? Then once we've figured out the costs one subteam can do the selling whilst the other sub team learn and prepare for their tour?
Alan: LOL. No.

It's been the same for several series now, but I'm convinced that the show's producers are setting traps off camera. For instance in these guided tour tasks, the suppliers are briefed to say "Haha, no way, that price is WAAAY too low", while the punters they try to sell to simply refuse to pay the original price, having been told to say that by the producers I reckon.
Still, it's good fun in a cringeworthy sort of way. I wish Lord Sugar would ease off the daft puns, and it would be nice to see some different tasks - the guide tour task hasn't changed in years, for example.
Oh, and the green dress woman (Nadia?) is very rude and annoying; hope she exits early in 'the process'.

Its dumb isn't it. What kind of business has to decide its selling price before it knows the cost and what its actually selling?Contestants: great, so we're all going to experience our respective tours first, learn what they consist of, what's included, how popular they are, how much it costs per person, then negotiate our price with the tour operators and suppliers before consulting as a team to decide on a reasonable price to sell these tours to the public? It's like they have never watched the show? But they must be aware of it because they've applied to be on it.How hard is it to go:
Okay, these tours are probably priced around €70 per person. This is based on a) that's about the price for something like this and b) I've watched the show, that's always the price. We want below €50 but don't insult them. €49 is our limit, anything below that is a bonus. Then we start the price at €120, the lowest we go to is €99. Anything between €100 and €120 is a bonus. If the cost is a bit more or a bit less, adjust accordingly. Do not insult the suppliers, they are not going to give you an 80/20 split. Aim for between 25% to 35%. Sell photos for €4.99 each or 5 for €19.99.
The candidate who runs/owns salons in Knightsbridge, enters the house at the end and is immediately blown away by the decor and opulence?? Same tasks and format as the previous 10 years it seems, creating AI character next week, more candidates acting in front of green screens, doing silly voiceovers and pretending to be Spielberg. If it was on Iplayer at least we could fast forward the next 8 episodes and get to the only interesting episode when the CV's/Business Plans are torn apart

I’m going to bet that won’t be happening any time soon for reasons you’ve given.
If past series are anything to go by she’ll continue being annoying for 2 more episodes then disappear into the background before reappearing around episode 6 and hitting it out of the park.
It really is a masterclass in the art of editing.

I know it's a repost but it applies more with each series

I gave it 15 minutes then turned it off; I religiously watched a lot of the early series but this literally is just the same old s
t as every other recent series. It really needs either a reboot or a rest.
Yep, I’ve watched every episode since the start. Last night was the last one for me. They just haven’t kept it fresh.

I actually think you comment about Jonny is offensive. He has clearly had major trauma and it probably takes more courage for him to be on TV than any of the others.Edited by Rider007 on Friday 31st January 02:22

Come on man the poor guy has clearly been through something terrible that most of us could barely imagine. It takes balls to go on tv. He seems like a lovely chap compared to the usual fluffers on the show.Edited by Rider007 on Friday 31st January 02:22
Am I completely out of touch, not been on holiday in Europe for years, but if someone asked me in the street if I wanted a bike tour for €200 I would think they are having a laugh.
