Hey,

I'm in the market for a 159 V6 Sportwagon (auto). I'd be interested to hear real, personal experiences of the car and, from any Alfisti out there, answers to the specific questions....

- I understand for the 2009 model year the car was lightened and revamped with little visual change (an invisible facelift if you like..!). Is there anything obvious to tell at a glance whether a specific example is pre- or post-revamp?

- I'm interested in the Ti version. Aside from the looks, are the Ti's spec upgrades and suspension changes worth having? Also it looks pretty low to the ground - any experience of speedbumps as I have to deal with about 3 billion of them every day?

Might consider a 1.7tbi or 2.4 diesel, although the V6s seem more common here in Oz - I'll be happy to hear experiences from UK/international PHers!

Thanks

I am led to believe that the revised ie ‘lightened’ car the easy way to identify is the badge is the boot release rather than the button on the roof.
Other than that, pretty robust really. Suspension bushes are prone to wear, as are upper arms, springs on Ti models can snap, replace with Eibach or other reputable aftermarket as better and cheaper than the Alfa ones. Also front subframes can rust, but I dare say less of an issue in oz than in uk (water traps in the under tray)
Engine block on V6 is a Holden unit so spares should be easy :-)
