Anyone else share my view that it will be tens of protestors not another Jan 6?

He is diminished massively. Just because many Republicans are willing to vote for him in a primary I'm not convinced they are willing to get arrested and thrown in jail for him any more.
Depends where. If he's being arrested in Florida it could draw a sizable crows of supporters. More in Texas, less so in NY.

If he does get arrested you can be sure a crowd will be there just to watch like a rubberneckers at a burning building.

Whilst I think his true supporters are a fraction of the number who voted for him, that's still thousands if not tens of thousands.
& I would suggest a majority of them could well turn up armed.
His supporters I assume.

I'd say a crowd is going to be mostly comprised of people wanting to watch/get a poorly focused, badly composed phone camera shot of it.

But it will give those who are armed plenty of places to hide.

Sure but would they be willing to commit criminal acts, that is my doubt. A thousand people have suffered criminal consequences for January 6 with many ongoing.

He hasn't lifted a finger to help any one of them, pay their bail or provide legal support.

The lack of a Jan 6 reboot will drive him even more bonkers when he sees his waning support.

There is a reason he hasn't done those big rallies for over a year.
No love on sites like 4Chan etc for trumps call for a response. Basically it's 'why should we protest for that clown after how he treated the Jan6 people?'

Is that normal for it to be announced in advance when someone will be arrested?
I bet his team leaked it. Law enforcement would not.
Thank you. But how does his team even know in advance? Seems very strange to me.

His lawyers would know about a pending indictment and I assume they are making arrangements for surrender, this is normal in New York.

The DA would never publicly comment on an indictment until the moment it actually happens.

Many examples, Weinstein, Epstein etc.

The most famous example is when the DA negotiated a surrender with OJ Simpson, via his lawyer Bob Kardashian. The police turned up to Kardashian's house in Encino to carry out the arrest behind gates to escape media scrutiny only for it to turn out OJ had done a bunk in the white Bronco!

On the plus side, he's learned how to spell 'border', since this morning!

My guess is that there have been ‘negotiations’ and several ‘what if’ scenarios discussed behind the scenes out of practical necessity, prudence and respect for the OFFICE of Fmr President etc.

And good ol’ Trumpy, as ever, can’t/won’t keep his mouth shut?

If Trump does an OJ it will not be in a black SUV, I can see a White or Beige old model RR Phantom with gold silver of ecstasy and gold wheel caps with a donation hotline on the side of the car.

And how do you defund the police? By illegally evading paying taxes

Would it not be a gloriously momentous if Trump and Andrew poTATEo head both got due justice this year?

Sounds delicious to me.

The Telegraph’s daily Ukraine up date podcast has a very interesting talk with a former Republican Party strategist and Lincoln project member on The effect of DT on the party, the US elections and Ukraine. He worked on 5 elections before walking away in 2016.
