I suspect there's been some discussion with his lawyers into how they can arrest him quietly without any violence and trumps lawyers have told him this, hence the ranting.

Edit: didn't go well with commentators pointing out it's not McCarthy's business to get involved in the legal process, and unlike Pelosi, there's no confidence McCarthy as speaker will do anything to protect people.

The other thing to remember here is none of this has come from anywhere apart from trump he hasn't been indicted or arrested, nor given any proof he will be - just run his mouth off again to attempt to wind up his base, to give them time to prepare.

I believe they do in the US. But his attorneys will block matching DNA for charges in other cases. But then again they are fIf trump is arrested, will he have a DNA sample taken like they do in the UK?
