As for hate crimes going up and acceptance being on the decline, have you asked yourself why that may be? Might be the same reason people like me completely disassociate with the whole LGBT community stuff.
Yes, you have your rights now so why give a fk about the rights of others. We get it. Move on.

Does it really though Joanne when you need a pee is there a man their shouting "Oi Clockwork Noooooo, you may not use the convince marked with a typical female silhouette, you must use the gentleman's convince you horror to the naked eye" ( said in the Harry Enfield voice).

I mean I hope to christ this doesn't happen (I sadly suspect it may have) but day to day are you barred from using the right bathroom for you (I assume here you present as female and don't have a beard etc).

Toilets is an odd thing but use it like a regular person does (discreetly) an I suspect its fine. Go full Dylan Mulveny and start handing out tampons and it might not go so well.
One time I had someone say "you should not be in here" and I was like "um, why?". Just one time. And that one time they swore it was "a joke". But in the same way that I have never been murdered yet acknowledge that people get murdered, nor have never been mugged yet acknowledge that people get mugged, I know it happens based in the experience of others.

Fortunately it is rare. For me anyway; maybe I "pass". Mostly women just want to piss and st and wash their hands and fix up their makeup. That is my experience. Yet to many trans-denyers we are all groping each other's genitalia and engaging in lewd acts or something. I dunno.

I think the issue is the loudest voices tend to be the ones who do the oddest things. So trans denier will shout Oi. I pervert etc, and Trans activists might do the dylan thing post a tic tok about a made up tampon situation etc. 99% of people use bathroom wash hands an leave without ever having to speak to anyone.

Fault lies on both sides bur while you nore I can not speak for society as a whole I think we can say most people believe piss where you like don't make a fuss etc

My understanding is that everyone has the same rights, predominantly the right to be treated the same.

What rights do you think that others have but you don't?

Nothing has really fundamentally changes in the last decade or so, though, has it? The main driver behind increasing intolerance is, IMO, the ideological war being fought by the regressive right, and the ensuing barrage of hysterical reporting around trans people.

These days you can barely move for screeching diatribes on how letting trans women share changing rooms with biological women heralds the decline of western civilisation and an open invite for predators and rapists. That wasn't the case a decade ago. It's no wonder that views are hardening when 99% of the exposure ordinary people have to "trans" issues stems from rabid Daily Wail-esque nonsense.

I'm sure being roommates with more than half a dozen of them is all just a coincidence.
Evidence please?

Do you say this to your black acquaintances too? And your gays ones? Assuming you have any of either?

I don't even know how to process the ignorance of your question so I will confine myself to "Dude, WTF?"

Quite

I have been going into womens' toilets for decades and I have never once seen minge. Not over age nor under age.

Yet apparently we should ban trans women due to "legitimate concerns" [sic]

Again youtube or tik tok Dylan Mulveny or Jeffery Marsh then compare them to say Blair White or Catlyn Jenner. Its not the wail making trans people look mental. An before you do just to note someone said they had never heard of Dylan well they have 10.8m followers on tic tok for reference Graham Norton has 2.2m followers.

In fairness, I have never heard of 3 of them and only heard of Catlyn Jenner due to other media.

Social media is a bit of a bubble.

Thought it was pretty common knowledge for anyone with any interest in LGB Alliances activities that Ofcom have been writing to LGB Alliance at their 55 Tufton St Address. Surprised you need evidence of that or what that address represents.

Also given the defence of use of that address was, it was a great price and available to us, is pretty damming that they are being supported by the far right if only in discounted/free office space in central London.

They share an address with right wing groups.

They share talking points with right wing groups.

They share support with right wing groups.

I do not believe your request for evidence is genuine, and you will reject anything posted as not meeting your criteria, but here is an example of the kind of article that is easily found with a simple search:

"Activist instrumental in the launch of the LGB Alliance linked to anti-abortion and anti-LGBT+ hate groups"

My black acquaintances are actually friends, Ditto my gay friends & my two trans friends. I'll ignore the insult, btw. It might also be worth mentioning that I'm mixed race.

My question is not ignorant but it says much that you choose to not answer it. What rights do I have that you don't? Either give an answer or stop pretending that your rights are in some way inferior to others'. "Dude, WTF?" is not an answer to what was a perfectly reasonable question.

Have you heard of Matt Walsh he is a Conservative media personality produced the film "what is a women". Also recently came in for a lot of flack for criticism of Dylan and Jeffery.

How do they "make trans people look mental"? You're literally proving my point here by parroting the views of someone you acknowledge is a conservative pundit whilst pretending that the two examples he's picked, and you've chosen to echo, are representative of trans people as a whole. Is Andrew Tate representative of all cisgender straight men now?

You could scarcely have made my point better for me if you'd tried.

Nope. I am fed up with Social Media. It only feeds me trans hate.

I've kind of withdrawn somewhat. I am even rarely posting on PH now despite being a member for 22+ years

This is the thing I don't quite get about all of this.

I'm a straight white middle aged bloke who'd consider myself reasonably politically aware and I haven't so much as heard of Dylan Mulveny or Jeffery Marsh.

I might be about to ask a question that highlights my ignorance on this subject but am I supposed to have heard of them or is what they say on Tik Tok and YouTube meant to represent an entire community?

As you say Andrew Tate doesn't speak for me.

If it is worth a groat, I have always considered you an ally and have valued you posts.

You always make well-reasoned balanced posts and anyone who thinks otherwise is just moaning that you are not biased toward them

Do I not have a choice in this? It seems pretty fking homophobic to me to force team me with another group just because of my sexuality.

Again, no. I'm not part of any sort of community, no flag or letter salad represents me nor do I identify with any of it.
No you don’t have a choice to be part of the community because the defined outside of you. I gave examples of why that is.

Community isn’t consensus, or necessarily representation. No one is forcing you to be on anyone’s side and being part of the community doesn’t force you to express your sexuality in any particular way, or at all for that matter.
