Since this was lifted from a post I made on the stabbing thread I’ll post, as it might provide context.It’s a post on Substack by Matthew Goodwin, professor of politics in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent.

Looking at the “list” wtf have most (if not all) of those got to do with far right thugs rioting?

And I'm not saying we should triple the prisons budget, there's not the money for that. Merely that it's another indicator that civilised people are losing control.

Yup. But given how much time it's eaten up this morning I wish I'd written my own bloody timeline, it would have been quicker in the long run. This was supposed to be diverting the dross from a thread I'm following not creating a new thread of dross that I can't resist clicking on.
