There’s no reason at all that someone letting legitimate housing to legitimate tenants and paying appropriate tax needs to be anonymous.
What about if you just want to be anonymous?

What if there were a legitimate business reason for anonymity, say, preventing customers or suppliers from seeing this information?
What if your tenant was an ahole and someone wanted to complain?
What if there was a terrorist living there and the police wanted details?
What if there was a fire?
What if there was a flood?
What if there was poor maintenance that was affecting the tenant or neighbours.
Etc etc.

If you want to be anonymous, go and buy some shares or something that isn’t community based. Simple stuff.

As stated above, easiest option would be to register your company at somewhere other than your home address.
this was my first thought. My accountant offered my business to be registered to their offices for this reason. He stated quite a few clients dont like their personal address being publicly available/ linked to the business.

OP here,

Been out all day cutting grass and avoiding tax so apologies for the delay getting back.

Its purely a privacy/paranoia etc issue. I am happy for the GOV to know what I earn etc to tax me, This isn't about tax, purely stopping neighbours, or guests or tenants knowing my personal address. Nothing has happened yet to spur this on, just purely is it easy enough to do then I will. Imay try writing to CH and asking to remove my address details. I have a service company address set up for all my mail and post anyway so that would still be shown.

But if it wasn't that much extra cost/red tape and I could totally hide my affairs then I would like to at least explore that.(again not for tax reasons but if there was a tax advantage then I would consider it)

Cheers all
Hi OP

Did you manage to achieve what you were asking in the end ?

I am looking to do the same and would be grateful if you could let us know what you did - if anything.

Thanks

The easiest option would be to transfer ownership to a business. Register that business as a subsidiary of an overseas holding company, and someone would struggle to find much info. Look up Mossack Fonseca.

My misses thinks she has been pinged by a camera van, can all this be completed within the next fortnight?

Look up Mossack Fonseca.
Not the best example....

"On 14 March 2018, the firm announced that it was closing due to the damage inflicted to its finances and reputation by the discovery of the multi-billion-dollar money laundering schemes.

The founders of the law firm have been on trial since 26 June 2023 in a court in Panama City for alleged money laundering. The prosecution has asked for up to 12 years in prison for Jürgen Mossack and Ramón Fonseca for concealing assets linked to the Operation Car Wash case. It also requested sentences for 26 other people and the acquittal of four other defendants"
