Anyone in BP today? Mid term holders can look to get up to 400p next year i think, im in with 25k, looking for a 10k profit in my ISA. GLA
I’m in BP. Only stuck a spare £3k in on 14th October at 210. One of my best random buys. Had a £50 divided payment and it’s ticking up nicely same with RDSB.

I also have PFC which I will sell if it hits 200.

Was in UFO but badly timed and was down 30% when I gave up, it’s even lower now but it’s still on my watch list as has some interesting prospects

What’s your view?

Looks like Democrats are going to win in Georgia tonight. Nasdaq is dumping as a result.

Good news for me on balance.

BLNK and EV should benefit and apparently there will be a higher chance of getting an extra $600bn of stimulus agreed.

ALPP might fall but used to that now, as might be regarded as Tech even though not in Nasdaq yet

In the spirit of gambling.

TUI Rights Issue.

You can buy 25 new shares at 96p for every 29 shares you own.

I currently don't own, which having read the RNS leads me to consider although they do say "We don't have the cash to repay this right now, so it could all go very wrong".....

If you bought today at £4.88 and agreed to buy in the RI you'd end up with an average of £3.11 (29 @ 4.88 + 25 @ 0.96)

Anyone in, or going in to benefit? Does anyone know the cut off deadline to be in to be able to participate in the RI?

Article about BP and RDSB rises today - https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/bp-shell-oil-pri...

They're about 20% of my portfolio so a 7% day gain off the back of yesterday is not unwelcome.
It seems Saudi are cutting production by 1m barrels per day with supply kept flat until March. NYSE BP currently at +9%
Decent rise on oilers and banking at open. Like it. SYME and EQT heading in the right direction.

on the website you can download all transactions - not sure if there is a running total, but you can work it out.

Yep. Keep going oilers and SYME. I’m disappointed with SYME was expecting it to be around 0.7 now working towards 5p by December.

WDI up again although 80% down still. Ha ha. I actually wanted it to die just so I could say I was there.

Is the expectation the SYME will hit those sort of numbers?

Yes, I watched the interview yesterday - still not convinced it's anything more than a gamble (for me) - but happier now to wait and see what develops over the next couple of months.

BP has been a thorn in my side - poor timing last year (March iirc) - so been generally nursing a small loss for ages despite averaging down. Nice to be back in the green.

LSE SYME forums have the numbers at many multiples of 5p I think biggrin - there seems to be a distinct whiff of 'pump' on the boards.

There are all sorts of numbers being attributed to this.
Some more news to come out.
Legal 'stuff' sorted
New Investors due to be announced as a partner for the inventory fund
Quadrillia (sp) is a funding partner and strategy partner - the CEO makes a big deal about them.
Aim to scale up, proof of platform = huge potential.

But ultimately there are some holes so there is a risk that it will just wither away.

2021 - ready to fly.....

just a whiff.....? its an echo chamber of delusion half the time....very few informed posters who question some of the goings on.

me and rich12 been in since 0.12 but until there's some meat on the bones with client numbers and actual funding I dont see it breaking out.

lots of talk about the options bet AZ had that expired on the 31st dec and all the it ll be 2-3p by end of December.....look where we are........give it time though......fingers crossed!!

For every €1bn monetised it’s 1.25p on the SP. Rumours of first announcement end of Jan/Feb which could be around this figure.

That’s how I have had it explained to me. Not from LSE board by the way. A friend of mine who analyses everything about companies.
