Looking at doing up the family bathroom.

With a young family 80% of it's use will be children's baths for the foreseeable future.

Having a preset temperature/fill level(?) would make things easier for running a nightly bath. Even more so if we could avoid taps for heads & knees to be bashed off. Shower would be wall mounted up & out of the way, with hidden pipes.

Does anyone have a similar set up? How much? Worth it?

Thanks

When renovating our bathroom this year we installed "Crosswater Solo" controls for both the bath and shower (seperate).

The bath fills via an overflow filler so no taps in sight. The control has a backlight that changes colour (blue to red) as you adjust and has 3 presets that are selected by single/double/triple tapping them on. Have to confess i've never bothered adjusting, the default single tap temperature is pretty much what we use for my 3yr old...

Overall i'd highly recommend, outlay was a fair bit (think the controls were c£500 each) but the finish is really tidy, they work perfectly and definitely have a gadget factor that most visitors comment on being impressed with!

I'd guess the aqualisa etc equivalents to be very similar other than physical appearance.

Any specific questions let me know.

I have a Mira Platinum set up for my shower. It has a remote control unit for temp/on/off etc (can have more than 1), and the pump can also be installed remotely (under a bath, in the loft etc).

You can also buy a version that will supply two things, which could include an overflow filler. (I 100% should have done this but wasn't aware of the options fully before the holes were cut in the bath!). e.g.

(Not used the vendors above, but gives you a better idea of the products).

I have 2 of the Mira showers and they are very good (better in many respects than the Aqualisa we also have).
