I keep trying to enjoy it but I just can’t. Maybe I should skip forward a couple of seasons? I found The (US) Office season 1 poor, but from then on it is just genius.

(It’s on Prime incidentally, not Netflix)

As we’re onto a new thread, it’s high time someone mentioned the stranger. Anyone watched it yet?

Probably late to the party but just discovered Black Mirror......a modern supercharged tales of the unexpected crossed with the Twighlite Zone.
Excellent and weird all at the same time
Each episode is independent and different

Binged on it Saturday afternoon due to storm Dennis.
Watched all 8 episodes with the wife.

Very good although as with most of these series, the conclusion is never as good as the suspense throughout.

Same with American Horror Story etc.

Worth a watch though.

PS. Do I need a whoosh parrot? I never read volume 1, but I’m guessing it was all about the stranger. hehe

Maybe just a parakeet! Last couple of pages of the previous thread were full of ‘has anyone seen the stranger’ posts.

We finished the series last night, worth watching, but not amazing.

I watched that at the time, Again much the same - something to watch but not mind blowing.

Thanks for recommending The Pharmacist. What a man. He was like a dog with a bone.

I do wished they looked into the FDA approval of OxyContin as this seemed a critical omission from the programme.

Hannibel - Prequel to the Silence of the lambs

Not a new series but watched 3 episodes last night and there was a lack of tip tapping in the Prolex house

The one with Mads Mikkelson? Some great suits and well worth a watch, a tad far fetched but it is TV after all.
