I have been enjoying the virtual tour of this one. The monkey lights in the kitchen are one of the more amusing details when touring around the maze of a house that appears to be too small for them.

Not a nightmare, but a quick google of 'zorro ranch' reveals who owned it (epstein). Knowing that, surely you'd want to level the entire place and build something of your own.

I think I know some people who would find a padded room useful - especially if it had a good lock on the door!

Seems good value for a plot in that area - I assume it'll go for a good deal more?
Looks like it was a `work in progress' 11 years ago!

Not far from me and have found myself looking at this listing a couple of times, money-pit springs to mind, and imagine it will go for way more at auction/sealed bids regardless. not the best area either so there is a value ceiling too.

They've got their Xmas tree Up! It was listed 6 days ago so they must have had it up before the 21st of November. Not only is that way premature but that picture is gonna be embarrassing when the house is still for sale in July. Can you even get a mortgage on this type of house?
You can if it has the relevant PRC certificate, but only from a select few lenders which limit your options greatly.

Personally i'd stay well clear...

These popped up localish. I'm not sure I know where to start. There are a few "barn conversions" round here but these are a new high/low. Looks to be around a £1M

I'm trying to get my head round things. The green areas aren't gardens, are they? They're paddocks for 4-legged things, right? So it doesn't really matter if they're not right outside your "house". In a way, the furthest one is the best because it's nearer to the road for loading up?

Of the three you'd want Mulberry Barn anyway as you wouldn't have others driving across your area. You could gate the entrance too between Mulberry and Cedar Barns to make it private.

What I find poor though is bedroom 5 has no bathroom access. The bathrooms are en-suite to the other 4, there is no family/general bathroom available.

Also the agents interior photos too many close ups. No photo of the dining room stuck in the centre either.

Is this not another case of redevelopment of farm buildings into houses but retaining the same shape, to get around change of use rules? It really would feel like living in a farm shed.

I'd hate to be in there in a hail storm... that roof would really rattle. The virtual tour doesn't match the floor plan, as they have a shared bathroom on the top floor, instead of one in bedroom 4 and a stupid open "family space" in the middle.

Another one that's good for trainspotters in a year or two. They will be shifting by the time they get here, but not to worry as it's pretty open landscape smile

Sheep maybe, but you wouldn't be able to keep a horse properly on that scrap of land - kids football pitch?
Bit pointless all round really.
