I thought the EA had accidentally taken the photos in B&W for this beauty but the garden shows up as green. Is this still a ‘thing’? It must take quite a lot of effort to make it look this atrocious.

Although it does feel like they’ve slipped this one in as a genuine black and white photo as a pisstake.

No banister rail around the top or down the stairs, the stairs of death - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/155576180#/...
"Ready to move in immediately" no I think it's not, not yet. I can see where the mounts are for the top, but the stairs themselves?
Surely regulations can't allow that, seems odd to have photos of it in a for sale advert.

I might be wrong.. but you could very easily add a colour with different furnishings and they would look fine, very little actually needs to be done. IMO.
Well, yes, easy enough to brighten up. Although I do the think the bones of it - like the nasty grey tiles - are very difficult to work with using anything other than the tat they have in there already. Anything traditional will just look weird and it’s not even contemporary and modern; it’s just st. I honestly wouldn’t know where to start if I wasn’t redecorating or changing the floors - to my mind nothing would work. Would be quite fun to have a go, though.

It’s just not had the glass fitted in the floor channel profile (the white box round the opening) and the glass for the stringers will probably end up with similar no?"Ready to move in immediately" no I think it's not, not yet. I can see where the mounts are for the top, but the stairs themselves?

I'm not sure whether this is a nightmare or PHers dream
The ground floor is a garage (looks to be quite low)
Then there are 2 one bed flats each over 2 floors.
Looking at rental prices in the area there's nothing easily comparable but
For £135k a single bloke could live in one and the other would pay thier bills.
It's on the edge of Snowdonia so would suit someone who likes mountains.
But the village is a bit "North Wales" (said in not a good way)
Nice rad position in the bathroom. Ideal for getting your red wine up to room temperature.I'm not sure whether this is a nightmare or PHers dream

Horrific in many ways but for 135k there has to be potential there? Knock it into one house, get a door opening onto the parking space around the side and get rid of the stairs access etc. On a fast road into a nice part of the world... could make a nice bolt-hole (certainly preferable to me than an overpriced caravan in Abersoch!)I'm not sure whether this is a nightmare or PHers dream

£4 million, a zebra painted AK47, an incredibly cheap kitchen and a shipping container! What more could you want?
To be fair, it'll need a full interior makeover, so its not the worst thing in the world. But you'll need to budget another 250k to do that. Which makes the asking price punchy
I also wonder if you couldn't build a single storey garage where that shipping container is quite easily. Its not in front of the neighbouring property front wall.

I must be going blind. Where's the shipping container? And I can't see any photos of the kitchen?£4 million, a zebra painted AK47, an incredibly cheap kitchen and a shipping container! What more could you want?

Other than that - it's white walls and wooden flooring. Everything else is just paintings that you just take off the wall?
This thread does amuse at times. I presume you lot must live in some incredible properties!

I thought the same. The shipping container can just be seen next to the house in picture one, and there's a tiny bit of kitchen counter in another photo. More than enough to judge its quality, of course. Other than that - it's white walls and wooden flooring. Everything else is just paintings that you just take off the wall?

Shipping container is alongside the house - left side of the main pic. Basically a small metal garage. I agree with you though, I probably wouldn’t have chosen to decorate that way, but it’s hardly ‘nightmare’, just someone else’s taste. And can be fairly easily changed.
The biggest problem is that damn tree, tricky to get cars in and out of the garage I would build. I don't like the rear either! Stupid glass box stuck on it. Leave the Victorian fittings ffs!
I think the other problem is "who owned this place before?"
To me it screams dodgy/ttty/chavvy character.
And the question I'd ask is does this person have enemies/friends that wont know he's moved and I'd be having to deal with dheads for a while.
